Flip
Great game. Him and Taylor looked solid.
The College Dropout
Both Colo and Taylor looked brilliant. As much as Taylor is seriously limited, his willingness to put his body on the line in games like this is priceless. taylors problem has never been lack of talent as a cb, he's actually reasonably good he's just prone to major brain failure and made of glass Aye. He has talent. Good defensively. Fairly quick. Good in the air. Strong. Decent positionally. Being made of glass and doing idiotic things is his issue. TRon
Brilliant today. Although he did get bullied in the air for Man Utd's closest chance by Smalling. But much better defending on the deck today than previously. Was that the one at the end? He nearly tore Colo's shirt off, man. You could clearly see his shirt being pulled, no surprise that TCD is backing the Man U cheat though.
NEEJ
Brilliant today. Although he did get bullied in the air for Man Utd's closest chance by Smalling. But much better defending on the deck today than previously. Was that the one at the end? He nearly tore Colo's shirt off, man. It was a fair aerial duel. What are you going on about man, you knacker? It was a clear foul that the referee missed.
geordiesteve710
Brilliant today, hopefully a much needed confidence booster. Worth noting though, as others have said, that the game was played perfectly to his strengths, no big striker having cross after cross whipped in to him, so no aerial duels to contend with, and as we played so deep there was no chance for anyone to get in behind him. When it's all played on the deck in front of him/trying to play through the CBs he will look like a world beater 9 times out of 10.
Doug
MOM Put decent footballers alongside him without a hoofball philosophy and he will excel

Newcastle Fan
Phenomenal in the back today, on of those games for him, hope he can give more.
Stifler
His type of game today where he can intercept the pass and stop someone from getting into the box from a central position on the edge of the box. It's when crosses and header come in where he mostly lets us down. In saying that he has an excellent game today.
Guest
Ronaldo will be foaming after that performance Course he won't. He calls it as he sees it. He'll want Colo to play like that every week so there's no need to criticise him.
Tiresias
still trouble in the air, but best performance for a long time from him

Incognito
The type of game that Colo looks forward to, no physical challenge nor real pace. And under those circumstances, he's going to shine. Which he did today.
Holloway
If you were completely new to football and this place was your first port of call, it would be understandable if you came away thinking Coloccini had the physical presence and leadership qualities of Mr Bean

AY
Today suited him greatly, pretty slow pace and no one physical to bully him. Reads the game well.
