Ginola
I don't watch him week in week out but whenever I've seen Gomis he's been shite, I'd rather we looked elsewhere. Getting Remy on a permanent deal and bringing another in on a loan to perm deal would be ideal although quite unlikely.
Sifu
Gomis wanted by Spurs according to the BBC gossip column. If we still want him we might need to sort something out soon. Another Remy/QPR situation Don't worry, Ashley's got Pro-Evo for the PS1 ready.

madras
I'm guessing 0 in and 0 out. i'll go 2 in (one first 11 forward, one kid who will never be heard of again), 2 out but not anyone we'd ber bothered about.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
I don't know about any realistic transfers in but, now NUFC are out of all competitions except for the Premier League the club need to try to loan out as many of the young, fringe players as possible. They won't be getting any game time in the Premiership.

joeyt
Based only on the fact that we bid for him a few seasons ago wonder if we'd be tempted in a cut price deal for Bryan Ruiz

Disco
More chance of them signing me but Lewis Holtby is supposedly on his way out of Spurs and we (allegedly) want a Cabaye type player.
LRD
Spurs. We'd likely get quoted more than any Cabaye fee.
1878
More chance of them signing me but Lewis Holtby is supposedly on his way out of Spurs and we (allegedly) want a Cabaye type player. Is he a Cabaye type player? Can't imagine him playing that role successfully. From what I've seen he's more of a Tim Cahill with better technique. TaylorJ_01
Spurs are daft. Stockpile midfielders then discard them all, so pointless.

We've been playing Cabaye in the 10 role and it isn't really working so from what, albeit limited amount, I've seen from Holtby I think he'd be a decent fit there. Neil
Think Holtby is a very handy player. I'd like him at Everton if we were interested. That said I think he could be an extremely good fit for you. Seems like you're crying out for someone to naturally link midfield and Remy. Cabaye, IMO, operates best deeper than where a conventional #10 plays.
buzza
Yep, Cabaye operates much better from middle of the pitch rather than further up it. I would love to see a younger version of Nolan in that position for us, someone who can win things in the air, hold the ball up and knock a few in by arriving that bit deeper... Dinho lad
Would settle for Holtby as a Cabaye replacement. Don't think he's unrealistic either.
BillClinton
Would be a good fit but I think Spurs are asking for too much, which is why he hasn't gone back to Schalke
Guest VanBarduck
We should go after Gourcuff, he's coming back to his very best. If he can avoid injury, I think we might see the World Class player from his Bordeaux days. 6 goals and 8 assist so far this season. ( And he practically started his season 2 months ago)
