Guest Roger Kint
Jeremain Lens wants a move to the Premiership... How much do you reckon he'd cost? £8m+? For us nothing. Pardew is shit. Not 6ft4. Sell before we buy etc Being serious though is he that good, only seen a little bit of him but not sure he would be worth it(unless he has got much better this season?) Unbelievable
Jeremain Lens wants a move to the Premiership... How much do you reckon he'd cost? £8m+? Don't know, but I think 5m should do it. Affelay may also be looking for a new club.

Unbelievable
Lens is exactly what we need really. Plays from the right mainly though..
Guest Roger Kint
Lens is exactly what we need really. Based on my Dennis Wise scouting you are right: used to playing in a naff striped home shirt/awful away shirt. Has scored a header from a corner(from outside the box) Sign him up

TaylorJ_01
I wonder if we could convex Lens to come here. God that wasn't even worth typing.
Disco
I've not seen him play for a while but I think he'd do alright in the PL. He's quick and direct which is usually enough to succeed in this league.

TaylorJ_01
Indeed. I quite like Lens. A player we could do with on our books. Won't be a world-beater but, as Disco says, he'd do alright.
aussiemag
Whats the difference in playing style between Mertens and Lens?
Smal
Marc Bartra might be available on loan next season apparently. Could be a decent inexpensive squad member for the season if Colo does leave.

Dokko
Pennant has just been released. Joking aside, an upgrade on all our natural wingers.

Deuce
Rory Delap? Crosses evidently don't work for us, maybe 30-yard throw-ins will.
Disco
Rory Delap: in 08-09 you took 267 long throws. Then 345 in 09-10, 320 in 10-11, 148 in 11-12 & just one in 12-13. They wore out your arms.
Village Idiot
There's a bunch of players we're looking to sell/loan: bartra, afellay, dos santos, bojan, cuenca. Rafa alcàntara, sergi roberto... Make your pick. There's also Villa/Deulofeu but those aren't too realistic.
joeyt
Afellay was a really pointless signing for you lot
ponsaelius
Set up that opening goal at the Bernabeu that took them to Wembley. Worth it just for that.
Village Idiot
As Sewelly says, that assist alone was worth the transfer fee.

Tooj
Doesn't Cuenca want to go back on loan to Ajax? Plus the likes of Barta, Rafael, Deulofeu, Sergi Roberto etc need loaned to somewhere to learn their trade.
Village Idiot
I like Cuenca a lot, insane technique but maybe a bit weak. Best crosser of the ball we have, imho. His problem is that he's been crocked for a year. Roberto is one that I think could adapt well to England, but you seem stoked in the cm department, and he isn't our usual tippy-tappy midfielder - he's more box to box in the English mold. Cuenca wants to go to Ajax, but they won't pay wages in full so we're looking around.
