Dokko
From reading between the lines this is something that probably all clubs have done. Any points reduction will likely open a can of worms the FA don't want. Considering Chelsea were involved the evidence against us and for them will have to be cast iron for anything to come of it. As it stands it just means they can now look at the books. I don't think the club were bothered too much about that, it was more down to the dawn raids we suffered while the two London clubs were just asked for theirs. TRon
Saudi money can fuck off. I'll bet Man City fans regret not taking the money from their Qatar owners, they could have had Mike Ashley in there with Sports Direct plastered all over their stadium. thomas
Like we're lucky enough to get normal, despicable Saudi money. We'll have the ghosts of Pol Pot and Idi Amin as co-owners

We'll have the ghosts of Pol Pot and Idi Amin as co-owners Perhaps Newcastle can be the last bastion of English clubs and turn back the tide of foreign money. loki679
Sounds like a lot of work tbh. Let someone else do it and we'll have a gander while we're polishing our trophies. (That may be a euphemism)

The article states that Staveley's group haven't signed an NDA, but that three other interested parties have. Would copy the article across, but difficult on my phone. I've just read it there mate, I was going off what the guy tweeted. Heres the (small) article: Newcastle interest grows There are three separate groups of potential investors conducting due diligence at Newcastle United in addition to PCP Capital Partners, which is run by Amanda Staveley, who held informal talks with club officials at St James’ Park last weekend. Unlike PCP, the other interested parties have signed non-disclosure agreements and are pushing for a quick deal, ideally before the next Premier League TV rights package is completed in February, which they all expect to have an inflationary effect. Mike Ashley, the owner, also wants a quick sale as he is keen to avoid an outlay in the January transfer window on an asset of which he is in the process of disposing, having conceded that Newcastle’s squad requires strengthening
