Guest palnese
Still think there is a role for him in the side. Must be frustrating for him. Expect him to play a part vs Wolves.
Fenham Mag
I think tonight and the return of Tiote and Cabaye, two home games gets Ben arfa the chance to play with forwards making runs, those are two massive games for his time here. (really though he should play till the end of the season to see ) Hope you are right
BONTEMPI
This lad needs quality around him to play his best game. Get Cabaye and Tiote back and we may see the best out of him.
Elliottman
Pards said today we were missing three of our firdt choice midfielders. Raylor must therefore be considered first choice RM. HBA does not have a place in the team.

He will be nice a rusty again but expected to do wonders before being hauled off because he hasn't tracked the forward runs of Carl Henry or something. Whereas Obertan, Jonas and Taylor will shine regardless of who's playing..
Wullie
I like Ryan Taylor but fucking hell. He couldn't even get a game in our midfield when we were in the Championship.
alexf
I know people are getting sick of this whole debate but I really think it's something personal between him and Pardew. Clash of personalities or something? Reminds me alot of Souness/Robert or even Pardew/Tevez.
Geordie Ahmed
He has to start against Wolves
madras
Will start against wolves.
Dave
Will start against wolves. It'll be Taylor IMO. We miss his set pieces and they have Matt Jarvis who Pards will be shit scared of. They're also a very physical side.
Wullie
I don't think he'll start, he'll be lucky to play.
alexf
Pardew, the man who gave out token substitutions to people like Alan Smith just to keep him happy won't even give this guy a few minutes.
Pata
Can you imagine someone telling us last season that he won't get a game and then list all the players that have been picked ahead of him?
SiLvOR
I don't think he'll start, he'll be lucky to play. This.
madras
I will stake my reputation on Ben arfa starting v wolves. (obviously I have fuck all to lose)
ohmelads
Ben Arfa is as good as gone, he'll be off in the summer. The fact Obertan started and Ferguson replaced him tells you all you need to know. How many games has he even started under Pardew? I have the gut feeling he'll go somewhere else and do well. Something has obviously happened behind the scenes. It's a shame the transfer window has closed because we don't have the wingers to put teams on the back foot, Marveaux is crocked and our most creative player can't get on the field. Whatever has happened Pardew needs to do what is good for the team and the club. Ben Arfa has shown more in his few chances than Obertan has all season, so there's no excuses. Guest andrew
He won't feature much until the end of the season, ober and raylor are less risky and less opinionated. Would raylor have played anywhere near as much if we'd got pieters in the week before arsenal on the opening day?

My frustration of him not even getting a chance is slowly turning to sadness. It's rare for us to get someone as talented as he is and then he isn't even being given a chance and at the same time we watch Obertan, Shola and co. f*** up game after game. Crumpy Gunt
HBA would have been a passenger today. He wont be considered until Tiote and Cabaye are back in the middle.

Newcastle Fan
The problem isn't not picking him, the problem is picking players far far worse than him who contribute far less to the team either upfront or in defense.

Mick
He should have started today, along with Abeid who should have came in for Perch.
junkhead
I still have faith that he'll force himself into the team, regardless of Pardew's treatment. And all this "good as gone" bullshit can wait till the summer imo.
