Dr.Spaceman
He has been THAT shit for the last 3 seasons, yet some people wanted us to keep him Nobody wanted us to keep him He scored 1-in-2 the season before last and kept us up. Utter shite though, aye... Ah, okay, so you must have only seen the highlights of our games from around that time, yeah? That makes sense.

Dr.Spaceman
Missing countless sitters and having atrocious movement doesn't count either, by the sounds of it.

Marmoset
The one thing you couldn't get at him for was atrocious movement. He had great instincts of where to go and where to be.
The College Dropout
Finished with a goals to game ratio better than but similar to Craig Bellamy for us. 1 amazing season. 1 good season goals wise. 1 poor season. 2 seasons he was absolute pap. Hanshithispantz
Seemed to get lots of chances for a guy with atrocious movement aye. He was offside often but his movement was literally his best attribute. Both in getting into positions and closing down defenders. He never had a great career here on the whole, but there were 3 clear periods where he came good leading to him playing a massive part in us finishing 5th and keeping us up twice. Ronaldo
Atrocious movement? That's a bit like saying Oba Martins was shit because he lacked pace.

Miercoles
Second goal there was fucking sweet. Also, it's funny, I watch so many Newcastle games I think I've forgotten what a headed goal looks like.

It's a thought though, We don't seem to score many headers while being a supposed physically big team. Do we score fewer headers than most ?

toon25
Papiss Cisse, man. What a story. From world class striker stats for six months to being unable to hit a cows arse with a banjo. I still loved him.

Set pieces I dunno, but it is frustrating. As for open play, not a single one of our wingers can put in a cross to save their life, so that's probably that mystery solved. Palestoon
Will always love papiss, So frustrating at times, but you couldnt hate him because he was such a likable fella. Would go from wondering to how he was a professional footballer to pulling out something worldclass in the same breath haha.

Such a shame he lost his confidence from whatever happened to him in the summer of 2012. Honestly think Pardew is deserves a lot of blame for ruining a very promising striker. He tried to change him as a player. We had a lethal finisher, a goal poacher of the highest order, someone who played the entire match lurking around the opponents box just waiting and waiting for any chance. Then Pardew started demanding more from him from a defensive point of view. Start trying to get him to track back and totally changed the man's game even start playing him on the wing at one point. If we had a proper class manager in charge like we do now he would have continued to be a success I have no doubt. But Pardew ruined him and ruined him good. He's been damaged goods now for 4 years but least he's got a nice pension in China. It also didn’t help Pardew not subbing him and asking him to play WB whilst limping as he’d broken his kneecap ? We had Demba, Tiote, Hatem and Cabaye in the same side. It was like all of them came together to create a perfect storm, not sure any of them would have been great at different points in their career. And that fraud Pardew probably added 6 years to his managerial career on the back of it.
