Lotus
Didn't see the point of subbing him off for Cabaye.
healthyaddiction
Really tidy, always available for a pass and consistent with his own passing, the reason why we kept possession so much better today. I like his partnership with Sissoko, concerned it'll be broken up after the international break if Tiote is back.

Lotus
Didn't see the point of subbing him off for Cabaye. Really? Yeah. Cabaye didn't do anything Anita wasn't. Except give away a really dangerous freekick i suppose. Anita didn't do that.
Ashley17
I think if you compare the two players you can't argue that Cabaye is more creative than Anita. Anita played well, neat & tidy, for 65 minutes but we needed something to push us on.
Cajun
I'm a happy boy today really, most of our players did well or very well imo.
AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think it's even a question of Anita v Cabaye, they're very different players. I think, with our problems retaining possession at times, Anita has to be on the team sheet. I would play them both in a 3 with Sissoko.

healthyaddiction
When Cabaye came on it looked like Sissoko became the deeper midfielder and Cabaye was pushed up to really support the attack. Anita is a good passer but he isn't a creator and Sissoko isn't either. He was put on the spot a pass and possibly pick up a goal. He wasn't very good unfortunately, put in a couple of very poor challenges and fluffed his one chance to shoot.
Flip
Excellent player. I think Cabaye needs to go into the team and play centrally with him and Sissoko. No messing about. Remy - Cisse - Benny up top.

Out of the current personnel then maybe it's our best bet, although if we bring anyone else in (ha) I'm getting to the stage where I'd be dropping Papiss. Remy - Cisse - Benny up top. Yup honestly think Anita is better at keeping us ticking over and starting attacks but Cabaye is more of a creator. Anita-Sissoko-Cabaye Hatem-Remy-Cisse is obviously the best set up.
Cajun
At the moment (If Cabaye doesn't leave) I would go - Remy Cisse/Gouffran Ben Arfa Anita Cabaye Sissoko No reason why they can't all work together imo.
Ikon
And put Remy in as CF if we get a quality left forward/winger

Jayson
One of our best players recently. Was very very good today, liking him a lot now.
Newcastle Fan
Good player but my god is he tiny, even Berbatov brushed him off the ball like a little kid.
Kanj
Love when you think the ball to be played is out wide and he plays a real pacy ball up to the man checking to the ball upfield, its actually great to watch. Hopefully with Remy out there and his infinitely better ball control -- those will stick and the team will move forward. I like this little fella, long may his run in the team continue. Tiote on the bench for the rest of his career here unless he HAS to play if someone is out.
Cajun
Good player but my god is he tiny, even Berbatov brushed him off the ball like a little kid. Berbatov is hardly Shane Ferguson he may not be the most energetic player but he is certainly not weak.
