Liverpool 1 - 1 Newcastle United - 04/11/12 - post-match reaction from page 53

Ive no idea what people who think that red was even slightly debatable are seeing.  Colo's still looking at suarez leg when the balls 4 seconds past him.

Yeah, it was out of character, but far more of a red than Tiotes. Nowt to complain about here, your not going to tackle someone like that, granted maybe he wanted to pop the ball not Suarez by stamping on it.

Frustrating because it is out of character and we lose our best player for 3 matches. He tried to pull out far to late after realizing he was making a very bad decision.

Can we sell Jonas, offers nowt to the team offensively

I wouldn't want him to particularly when he's anchoring in defensive midfield.

Exactly this, thought he played well today.

Coloccini should walk for what he did, how Sterling got away with his tackle on Cisse without even a yellow card I'll never know.

The deliberate handball as well, no yellow. Baffling stuff.

Seriously, anyone else think the Suarez goal was nothing special? ???

Hoof up front and not much by way of defending, but the way he brought it down was sensational.

Didn't think it was as good as the commentators were saying for sure. Shocking defending as much as skill. Great skill, no doubt but there are plenty of other players on the pitch I would have expected the same from.
