James
Harewood got around 5 in 10, if memory serves. Just checked, 5 in 15.
Ronaldo
Pretty sure he didn't get 1 in 4, like. He was godawful in the PL, anyway and never got near to it again after we binned him. Scored 10 in 40 appearances after promotion. A lot of appearances as a sub or left winger under Pardew. Not in the Premier League he didn't get 10. I don't really remember him playing LW under Pardew at all, either. Jonas was there. He was up front or benched. Waste of time even discussing it, to be honest. Lovenkrands is a good lad but a perfect example of a player who did nothing before us, or after us. I hope the days of us signing rubbish like that are gone. TRon
Never in my life did I think I'd say this, but the mighty Gouf has to start on Saturday Feel dirty just typing it. I know what you mean but he's been immense so far. I lay the blame for his decline squarely at Pardew's door (and there's a good pile of shit outside that particular door already). If you're an accountant and get told to go and work as a surgeon then it's inevitable you are going to look a bit average. Gouffran was never a defensive winger in a million years. That melt Pardew needs publically outing for the fraud he is but he just keeps on getting away with it. He's still playing as a defensive winger, just at a lower level Very true but when you combine that with a rocket of a left foot and generally making sensible decisions when he's on the ball, that makes him a useful player at this level. What's more disappointing is that we don't seem to have anyone who can be trusted to play as a genuine attacking winger on that flank.
xLiaaamx
Nearly, nearly went for that one. Fucksake
louistoon
The most comparable player would be Lovenkrands, good in the Championship, can fulfil a useful squad role in the Premier League under the right conditions. Lovenkrands is a riddiculous comparison he was an aging player who'd spent the majority of his career in the SPL when we signed him.
HawK
I've given up, when he tells me to take out the sub appearances of one player to look at a goals ratio, then uses the subs appearances to pad out the apps of another to make the ratio look worse
Holloway
Will never be prem quality, hasn't a clue how to get away from a marker with skill, pace or strength
Ronaldo
He doesn't have any of those things, that's why. It is what it is.
Guest firetotheworks
We're in the Championship. He's a million miles away from being a PL quality player. This is it like. Not unlike Rafa to make good use of that type of player either, mind.
Aiston
Like a new signing.

AyeDubbleYoo
Have to respect how he's worked all the time he's been here really, even during the shit days.
Ikon
Surely even Ronaldo is considering a Gouffran tattoo on his lower back?
Dave
Really poor penalty to concede, but made up for it with that goal.
sempuki
Surely even Ronaldo is considering a Gouffran tattoo on his lower back? He might consider it on one of his arse cheeks to match his Colo and Tiote designs.
Guest firetotheworks
I'd look at playing him up front in certain situations tbh. He's a cut above most of the rest of the team.
Guest
Should get to double figures.
Decky
Very important player for us. And we'd have all been happy to see him leave over the summer. Funny ole game football.

TRon
It was a decent header tbf, got in where it hurt to get on the end of that.
Lush Vlad
Did he head the ball against someone else or into his arm or something? Looks like it takes two touches before it goes in.
Scoot
Did he head the ball against someone else or into his arm or something? Looks like it takes two touches before it goes in. That's exactly what I thought when i seen the goals again before. It's hard to see to be honest but it does look like it takes another touch just after he heads it. jimmymag
Tenacious little twat, and surprisingly good in the air. Keep it going lad.
Figures 1-0 Football
The most improved player under Rafa? He's genuinely like a new player after we've managed to take the Pardew coaching away from him.
