Incidentally - meant to ask, not sure if this has been discussed already elsewhere -  but what was all that commotion after the second goal down in the SW corner/Gallowgate where three or four very big lads in their 40s were basically stamping and piledriving into a teenage lad? :o

I'll try again, then...

I dont know- but a wild guess would be he celebrated a mackem goal?

Think this must've been the only likely explanation, but it was pretty horrific to see first-hand. The lad took a pasting. Fighting, fair enough, but when it's people stamping and kicking at someone on the ground it goes too far for me.

I'm assuming from the venom a few were spitting that they'd warned this lad already though, now that I think back, someone was shouting at one of the stewards that they should've had him out earlier (as though he'd been flagged and f*** all was done).

In terms of the actual beating the stewards did f*** all again, police turned up five minutes later when it was all over and some woman had to then be escorted out on a stretcher thing by St. Johns with what looked like a panic attack from witnessing it all.

There was fighting at the end of the game in the SE Corner low down between a teeanger in a Polka dot shirt and a bloke. He was mouthing off and it all got quite nasty tbh. I have no idea what started it, but the stewards were horrendous at diffusing the situation.

Haters Vs Waiters IMO.

I was amazed by the lethargy you showed.

It didn't even look like lack of organisation, or being too defensive, or anything you could point at as being easy enough to fix. It just looked like you didn't really care too much who won. Maybe it's the effect of the European game on Thursday, I dunno, but there was a real lack of energy all over the pitch.

Sunderland, on the other hand, looked like they wanted to win.

I thought they too were pretty shit, don't get me wrong, they've not turned into a decent side overnight, the difference was they clearly wanted to win the game, and Newcastle didn't seem that arsed.

You would think the big f***ing straight white line would make it an easy decision.

Yep... one of the worst decisions all season.

f***ing armatures.

Sickening. No two ways about it. We would have won and papered over more cracks. But on this occasion I wouldn't have fucking minded that at all.

Pretty much the nail on the head. They simply just wanted it more then we did.

I thought you looked tired and pretty devoid of ideas from the off. You're right, though, once they'd scored, it got worse.

I thought they were worth their win, but the scoreline probably flatters them a tad, as it suggests they were relatively decent, which they weren't. They just had more application.

'English Disease' - Oh f*** off, it's much worse around pretty everywhere else in europe.

Not true is it though. It's the same everywhere. Same type of low class mugs with nothing better in life than causing riots and fighting for a fucking football team. It's embarrassing.

no i'm honest, till they scored I could only see it going one way, after that we were never getting back into it.

We were bollocks right from the off IMO.

This really. They were causing more trouble to us than we to them. When they scored we had a chance to get right back in it but Mignolet did a nice save. After and before that we were horrible the whole game.

The one man was accusing a young lad infront of hitting his partner (by hitting I'm not sure if it was something accidental or something on purpose).
