The rocket they got off their manager at HT was enough to inspire the minimal effort needed to change the game. It went from nothing for Eliot to do to nothing for Foster to do. Pardew FFS. As for our players, did HBA even get a half decent pass after coming on? No, but I am sure Ben Arfa is expected to mark a goal without touching the ball. Unbelievable response considering what's happened so far this season. We are where we are because we haven't drawn enough away games like that. As usual though, teams that modify their initial tactics tear us apart. Pardew's Plan S is so transparent that any idiot knows what's coming. Everyone looks quite jaded. And yet again as soon as teams press us high up the pitch we freak the fuck out and start lumping it long. Should have been up 3 at half, that was a good display. Second half was borderline embarrassing. That was a train wreck of an officiating job too. That little dipshit got at least 15 things wrong, big and small. Should be demoted on that evidence. It's just crazy. Then brought him on with very little time to make a mark on the game, and why for Gouffran? Who was one of the better forward players.
