Something from his interview not mentioned - he specifically said the team were too workmanlike and he needs us to be more flowing. Make of that what you will.

Also that we didn't impose our game and focused too much on the opposition.

That's his bloody fault.  Why didn't he change it last season, he had plenty of time to.  Stating the bloody obvious he is.

Who really cares, what difference does it make?  We all want him gone, plus there were no power struggle last season no JFK , and still absolute shyte excuse of a season

Do we?

Unless your blind, stupid or both tbh.

Yeh then we can have Kinnear as manager. f*** a duck.

Yes because that just what i said.

Talking about just Pardew here. How many poor performances, how many lies and ridiculous comments and how many excuses did you need to, see, hear and read to realise he's crap. And Kinnear wouldn't be manager fwiw. His health wouldn't allow it. He has to take several pills morning and night, the DOF role suits him fine as it takes away the stress levels of management. The stress levels his heart just can't handle.

If you can't seperate not wanting Pardew, as meaning having Kinnear as manager, fine. Righto.

Given the levels of competency displayed by Ashley so far - taking into account previous appointments - can you honestly see Ashley making a better appointment?

Here's a clue - Joe Kinnear is the senior footballing authority at our club. It's 2013.

It's not Ashley you need to worry about, i think JFK is the man who makes the next appointment. I think that because i'm convinced JFK is out of the manager frame, due to the reasons i stated earlier. And as the DOF i think that will fall to him to recommend managerial appointments to Ashley. Obviously it's Ashley say so but he'll be picking from Kinnear's list.

He telling us what we want to hear, what he says is never what you see, just like that ESPN interview Stewart Robson gave about him, Robson was spot on.

Exactly, he is doing now like he has always done, oil us up with his PR salesman talk,

lets be fair to the man he is pretty good at this! Very convincing, knows exactly what the fan base want to hear... even I almost fell for it.  Damn.

that is how he managed to get the job in the first place, but judging by the second coming of JFK, it really doesnt take much to convince Mikey boy lol.

When Pardew came approaching Ashley inside the casino,  Ashley never stood a chance man! hahahaha

Problem for him now is we've seen it up close and figured him out. His bullshit wont wash anymore.

Sad thing is he will continue to pull the wool over some,  especially the media.

Unless he starts winning.

Fair point, i would love to have to eat humble pie. The team playing well comes first.

But imo we have a League One standard manager in charge and exactly what he'll stay. He's limited in every way.

I know, obviously the big question is why he didn't manage to implement the stuff last year. But when he gets a chance to talk I don't buy the fact he's always lying. Big test this season.

Imho, he clearly want's to play better football, and more often than not has a fairly logical grasp of our problems. But whether or not he has the wherewithal to solve the puzzle quickly and make it past Christmas I just can't judge as it stands.

Last season he failed miserably, but given an easier run with injuries, and more than one decent striker on the books, he's probably got enough about him to produce a decent (and watchable) team. Let's hope the shit with Kinnear hasn't sunk his chances already though.

The thing is he himself knows what the problem is, but real sad thing is he also know he does not have the skills the capacity or the ability to rectify them problems.

Hence all the bullshitting salesman talk, excuses and shower that he comes out with every pre and post game interviews.

Because any Tom Dick and Harry can easily point his finger and say "we need to do this and that, that bit is missing and this etc etc.."  but to actually have the capability to change and rectify those things are a complete different matter altogether,

And that is really what separates a good manager from a shyte one.  Sadly pardew falls in the later category.

A bit of bravado today about still being the boss and being in charge ... yada yada yada.

Actually quite annoying, as he comes across a bit full of it. Considering how awful he was last season he really should be ecstatic he's still working.

Plonker.

It's not all that separates them, some managers don't even know what the problems are.

that is true them managers do exist, but to have a manager that don't even know the problems and then a manager that can identify the problems but hasn't got the feintest idea or the capacity to solve them....

What's the difference? Both shyte and don't deserve a place in our dugout.

He's playing a very clever game, he's getting some sympathy from the media and fans because of JFK.

At the same time you know he's smiling inside.

I'm worried JFK will give him an excuse if we don't do well next season. He could try and argue that any players JFK brings that don't work has not given him what he needs to succeed. While I doubt he would ever say that to the media he can still argue that with Ashley.

Happy to hear his priority areas for strengthening are left-wing and centre-forward, agree with that whole-heartedly and as I've said before we need something like the Bellamy/Robert signings again to really push us on. Two genuinely class players who offer something different and incisive to the team.

Swear he has people scour the internet looking for criticisms and then just says what the fans have been saying all season.  He told us what we wanted to hear before.  Implementing his (our) ideas is another matter entirely.  He can't do it, as he's an average, one dimensional manager.

He'll start to regain some credit if he manages to solve the problems rather than just identify them. Any fucking retard could see where we're short, doing something about it is a different matter entirely.

He's genuinely lucky he still has the opportunity to manage us imho.

You said yourself a few days ago he has no say in transfers so...
