Hanshithispantz
Kinnear whether a sideways step or a step down is at least another step in the right direction. It would be 1 down, 1 more to go.
Darth Crooks
Be from 3-4 cunts down to two if Pardew went and followed Llambezee oot the door...we're facing a war of attrition with these arseholes until Ashley runs out of malice/patience/mates down the pub. Nobody wants Joe Kinnear as manager; it' just at the minute it feels as if were being offered a bear trap to the bollocks or a papercut to the bell. It's just that the paper cut to the bell is just as desirable as the other but goes about its unpopular work more subtly; with a notebook and nice suits and not a swivel-eyed drunken radgepacket like the beartrap. mrmojorisin75
Our only hope is JFK is not physically sound enough to take over on medical grounds. i was wondering if they have to insure a manager? if there's anything like that there's surely little chance he'll be able to take the job? jdckelly
Our only hope is JFK is not physically sound enough to take over on medical grounds. "fit as a fiddle" he wouldn't let anything stop him taking over and anyone who says it would be better than Pardew; lunatics
BlueStar
I can't understand why anyone would actually want Joe Kinnear as our manager. Closer to retirement.

Yorkie
Where does the Poyet link with Ashley actually come from? He seems to be second place in the "we're bound to appoint..." stakes. I know he scored against us loads but I've never really understood why some Newcastle fans really dislike him. Is there something I've missed? I'd be more than happy to change Pardew for him. I don't understand the ins and outs of why he was sacked, but he did brilliantly at Brighton. Absolutely pissed League One, made some good signings and consolidated their Championship status, then got into the play-offs in his third season. Only a short managerial career so far but pretty flawless results-wise. Seems like a promising young manager.
Scottish Mag
I want Pardew replaced as much as anyone, but for this saying they would take Kinnear just think back to this game http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1090832/Newcastle-2-Stoke-2-Kinnear-dock-Faye-late-strike.html Probably the biggest balls up of dropped points of the entire relegation season. Team was cruising in the first half, an injury to Danny Guthrie and Kinnear decides to move 4 players out of position for the second half which resulted in headless chickens that threw away what should have been an easy win. The man is a lunatic and a dinosaur of a manager. I also don't want him taking over as I honestly think his heart couldn't take it, the result of which could be horrific. Yeah, there were many horror shows but that's always the one that sticks in my mind. Geremi (then Cacapa) and Jonas at CM in a 4-4-2.

I agree - Poyet would probably be a vast improvement on Pardew but I doubt whether he would stay at SJP very long under Ashley. Ideally, we need new owners and quickly.
