Horrendous window, and we've missed a great opportunity to significantly strengthen in one or two key positions (especially left wing) with some very obvious options completely ignored (Scott Sinclair would have been great).

I think the only good thing that may come out of this summer, if anything at all, is the dismissal of Pardew. Though what happens after that would be anyone's guess.

JFK will take over, no question about it

Nothing surprising in what's gone on, I'm pleased with Remy but it very much feels as though everyone else has moved forward and improved

Aye, when put in context of the business the clubs around us have done it's been a shocking window. We need to pray to jeebuz that injuries don't cripple us, and probably pray to all the other gods that pardew doesn't cripple us as well.

annoyingly with the win on saturday and the 2 week break. Just one signing would have kept the feel good factor and renewed optimism going. But no now it's back to feeling like shit and disillusioned with where this club is going.

Doubt it made a blind bit of difference to be fair. The fact they had done nothing up to that point anyway made it obvious enough they had no intention of doing anything.

Surely another blank against Fulham would have sparked at least one panic buy?  The fuckers got away with that one.

The window was par for the course - how anyone expects Ashley to start spending real money on improving the side when he has continually rubbed fans' noses in the dirt and shown no interest in the club other than as an Ad vehicle for his tat business, is a mystery to me.

He was dragged kicking and screaming to the transfer market in Jan purely because he was going to lose money if the club went down and that will also have infuriated him because he hates doing things he has set his mind on NOT doing.

As has been said, he is a cancer on the club and most people never ever completely recover from cancer - the fact that NUFC sit - proudly, by Ashley's standards - at the very BOTTOM of the transfer spend this window has made the club a laughing stock and it now sits below the likes of Southampton and Norwich as clubs with ambition.

There is NO hope until someone with more ambition for the club than this guy buys it out - until then, the fans have it in their OWN hands to withhold from Ashley that which he holds most dear.....their money.

Well... at least he's older and a bit more fragile. *cough*
