Not that I am defending Ashley, but if i was subjected to the vitriol he regularly has hurled at him , i wouldn't feel particularly inclined to accede to the wishes and dreams of those people.

Ashley deserves all the stick he gets and a lot more.

Newcastle will target Hoolahan and Morrison if they can't get Duricic

Neil Ashton: Newcastle will go domestic if they cannot get Duricic across the line tonight.

Among the names being circulated in the Newcastle war room this evening are Norwich outcast Wes Hoolahan and West Brom midfielder James Morrison.

Newcastle chief Alan Pardew is a big, big admirer of both players. But the man he wants is Duricic.

probably shite but I'm seeking amusement

Lee Ryder ‏@lee_ryder 2m

Can understand #nufc fan frustration but club have briefed members of media that there's no more business.

No need for the "but" in that sentence .................FFS newcastle have wrecked Ryders career as a north east journalist and he still kisses ass him and pardew are welcome to each other

You just know what Pardew will say.

'We will act very quickly when the next window reopens'

You know what Alan, you've said that for the last 4 windows, just fuck off you wanker.
