toontownman
The Carroll of old is type of striker that would fit nicely for us through the middle. Which is why I am surprised we are linked with Lacazette and Ings who both excel more in the #10 role. Hard to find someone in the Carroll mold though that wants to come here. mrmojorisin75
Janmaat and Sissoko can both put in some decent crosses. i'm unconvinced about sissoko tbph but assuming that's true it assumes pardew is able to adopt a style that gets these players into crossing positions - when he had carroll last time barton was hitting pinpoint balls from deep which carroll was good enough to convert if pardew wanted to have a game with wide players whipping in crosses you'd think he might have tried it during the 6 months he had luuk de jong in the team
KaKa
Terrified of what is going to become of Sissoko next season. Don't think he'll be played through the middle, especially as Pardew will be trying to force Colback into the team anytime he can. Next season will be all about raging over the use of Anita and Sissoko. You can count on it. That first team sheet against Man City will have people foaming at the mouth. TRon
Janmaat and Sissoko can both put in some decent crosses. If the right sort of crosses are put in, Cisse's as good as anyone at getting on the end of them. If they are long punts from the back, not so much. KaKa
One thing to chat about that on a forum, another thing entirely to put that in a paper. What a despicable effort that is.

Klaus
Surprised the club haven't put the block on that article to be honest, there again maybe they want us to read it, so we can be 'happy with our lot' while they are here.

alexthegreat
Good article on the whole - not much to disagree with. Quite rare to see a local press man actually speak his mind. Must still be banned.
Away Toon
It's extremely badly written, disjointed and vaguely unreadable.

Yeah, must have phoned up the club to ask about the ban.. "So with the new season being a clean slate, are we allowed back in the grounds?....no... well sod you then. Right I'm going to write a negative article to stir up the fans again"
Ste
The club did not try to sell Colback to West Ham. Colback rejected their offer before agreeing terms with NUFC. That was the end of WHUFC's interest.

Dokko
Barring any big injuries to Anita I bet he starts more league games than Colback next season.
