NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

He tends to revert to his endeared 4-4-2 when he panicks for sure, like when he had a poor run of results or a key player like Cabaye was sold (although we played well as a 4-3-3 in the first match without him).

Reminds me of John Anderson who constantly says 'you dont become a bad manager over night' (because we finished 5th). Err.... how about you dont become a good manager over night you f***ing pleb?

If we have this two pronged strategy for transfers then we may as well not bother with wasting the money on Carr's list as they will just end up on the bench \ left out of the match day squad as Pardew's Clogger's fill up the starting 11.

Yeah but Carr's buys still tend to end being worth more than what we paid for them so Ashley probably isn't that bothered. Obviously they would be worth a lot more with a manager who knew how to use them, but big Mike doesn't want to think about it that hard. As long as we are in the black and he has a manager who won't cause him any bother he's probably fine with that.

   Why are they specifically targeting players that Alan Pardew has worked with, in his failed stints at Reading, West Ham, Charlton and Southampton?

 They're idiots.

@FrenchFtWeekly: Le10Sport (beware) exclusively reveal that #PSG have joined the race for Montpellier's Remy Cabella. #MHSC #NUFC

Sov states etc

Would he get a game? Cabaye is not exactly a starter atm.

He's best off going somewhere else first before going to PSG. They'll pay him double to sit on the bench, but career wise it'll kill him. Cabaye was one of the best central mid in the league, a league miles ahead of France and yet has to fight to get games. Same will be said for the soon to be worlds most expensive defender, so some youngish lad barely reaching double figures in value (and bought mainly due to his nationality) isn't going to get any favours thrown his way.

Cabella going straight to PSG is almost a bad a career move than coming here first. Joking aside its worse imho, at least he'll get games to showcase himself in a better league to eventually get that big move. well maybe if he defends a bit.
