Rooney must be on the brink

Getting a hammering tonight but they were second favourites to go down, so anything but relegation would be acceptable surely.

One defeat in five before this. Would quite like to see Rooney do well.

I see Hull sacking Liam Rosenior has worked out well. From 7th last year to the relegation zone now

Their manager will get sacked after tonight I reckon

Have you got Saturday's lottery numbers?

Tim Walter officially potted by Hull.

They’re weirdly decent at home but aye keeping them afloat will probably keep him in the role

Because he coached like two or three decent Man U matches?

4 games he coached, and two of them where against Leicester

In fairness he did coach PSV for a year, and won them a cup too.

Really interesting appointment, that. No research at all here but when I think of that PL era that he was a part of, its wrought next to fuck all in terms of decent managers, so I wonder if he can buck the trend. Henry, Solskjaer, Shearer, Hasselbaink, Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, Zola, Vieira... not completely bereft of honours but Christ it's slim pickings.

His record at PSV was good. Rather a left field like that then whatever the PFM circuit looks like at the moment.

No more good than coaches before and after him at PSV. Wasn’t like the season was a stand out metric rise.

Looking at all the managers that have come from Eredvise to England in recent seasons, way it’s going, Slot may be the only good one :D De Boer / Cocu / Ten Haag all had major limitations and failings despite winning titles.

Xabi Alonso the only one who really comes to mind.
