Still not sure where all the nice, charismatic guy stuff comes from with Amorim.  Find him anything but.  Like I mentioned the other day, it seems like he has been daring them to sack him for a while.  Hasn't he regularly thrown his players under the bus, too?  The way he always made out like he needed players for his system, putting them in a position to fail and didn't he also say something like it was the worst Manchester United ever/in recent history?  Or words to that effect.

Mental appointment the more you look at it.  Didn't Liverpool get put off him because he was so wedded to his system and his system only?  Did Man U think they'd be able to get him to change or did they think it would be successful with what they had?  It was basically a crock of shite for months on end, he gets backed but they don't fundamentally get loads better and then he goes full nuclear after the Leeds game.

Shame he's gone.  As I don't think he would have consistently found success with a system that was so easy to create chances against.  I think with the squad they have and a better manager.  They will do well.

Didn't Amorim try to whore himself out to West Ham when Moyes was looking to leave ? I think his reaction yesterday in those photos looked like his plan had come together and he was pleased he got the push, whoever is the manager of Sporting now must be looking over his shoulder.

The longest serving manager in the top four divisions is currently in 92nd place. Harrogate Town's Simon Weaver who has managed over seven years longer than Pep.

Once he goes Pep will be number one. Eddie currently fourth in the Premier League and tenth overall.

Where was that outrage when Strasbourg signed 6 Chelsea players in the summer?

The Strasbourg fans have been protesting the ownership since the start of the season and their discontent with Blue Co has been covered prior to this season.

Ignore the nepobaby.

He's not there on merit. Dad has owned the club since he's been employed. He's unsackable.

Multiclub ownership is already in place, all the noise is just for the benefit of the mugs who believe everyone has to abide by the same rules.

When did the word "Interim" replace "Caretaker" anyway?

In my mind "interim" is for a defined period of time e.g. til the end of the season whereas "caretaker" is more of a short term shop minder who takes the reins for a game or two while they get the next permanent manager in. But I agree that the media seem to be using them interchangeably to mean the same thing at the minute.

Them silly cunts might aswell just sack it off and have Ole, Carrick, Man Like Ruud, and a couple of other twats who know and will be loyal to the MANCHESTER UNITED WAY/DNA and ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK etc on interim/caretaker rotation for a few months at a time.

Then if it works we can maybe try the hiring another manager to rotate with Howe and that year-on year-off idea that got mentioned on here a few times.

Same here. Hopefully they give him the job full time after you just fail to qualify for the CL.

Aye, that's how I have it as on my mind. Not Fletcher being called an Interim Manager on a short-term basis.
