Mick
Tin hat time: From Caulkins Tweets it appears Pardew is under instructions from those above him on this. You don't need a tin hat, it's probably the only way to stop him embarrassing the club with his normal excuses which change from minute to minute. Chris_R
Yes, there's plenty we can legitimately throw at Pardew but this isn't his doing.
Wullie
Why would anyone want to listen to anything that man has to say anyway?
Jordan
Found these quotes from fans when Southampton sacked him I'm not disappointed that Pardew has gone, he did seem to be tactically naive. His use of substitutions in particular was poor. Boring tactics no plan b. No surprise. Think its a bit too early to let AP go although have questioned some of his tactical decisions. Alan pardew has bored me with direct long ball football.he has giving post match comments worse than george burley This is a great day for southampton fc. AP is not the most pro-active manager around his substitutions leave a lot to be desired and we've still not plugged the hole in midfield. Good sides go through it like a knife through butter. Good move by the club. Boring Pardew was never the man for the job. Obviously there was a lot of positive things to but these really stood out for me. The criticisms in these are things that he still does now which just proves to me he has learnt fuck all in his time here. I hate him so much. TRon
Refusing to speak to the written press. Why can't he just refuse to speak at all and make the world a better place?
ExiledGeordie
Not speaking to the press? Is this because of the new "contract" with The Sun, dear oh dear, haha

ExiledGeordie
This c*** deserves absolutely everything that comes his way in the end, the worst kind of yes man/patsy you'll ever see. It's so bad it's comical ffs Bobby Robson will be turning in his grave with the way the club is run thesedays.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Obviously it's not the written press, but will this stretch to MOTD, too?
Disco
Think the club/manager get fined if they don't do TV media duties. Fergie did when he was ignoring the BBC.
Wallace
Not that I care to hear what Pardew has to say but why should I have to buy The Sun to read any NUFC related interviews. I would hope the rest of the press refuse to give any free publicity to NUFC and especially Sports Direct and Wonga. Free publicity works both ways. Surely the Premier League needs to sort this out. henke
Some good news for once, hopefully the horrible little prick will knock the tv interviews on the head too.
Guest ElCid
The bloke is a grade A c*** and after watching this preseason it's going to be same old same old. Doesn't matter who he signs his failed tactics will always be there. The media silence and everything about the cub stinks and will do until the day the two pricks p*ss off from the club. Not one show of ambition has been shown in two years as every player coming in, is only replacing what have left and at equal value.
Guest Haris Vuckic
As if the 'media silence' is his decision man.
Guest ElCid
As if the 'media silence' is his decision man. He would be in total agreement with it - and different topic but "we have a different look" he says on the official website - fuck me he is so fucking unreal. Jack Flash
As if the 'media silence' is his decision man. He would be in total agreement with it He really won't be. He's as big a self publicist as anyone in football. This'll hurt him more than actually losing games.

Ted Maul
the fact that somebody else has nearly always made the same unrelentingly negative points I was going to make is the only thing keeping me chipper at the moment.
Pilko
He always talks about how we lacked pace (Hughton's side when he took over, end of 12/13, end of last season) and yet now we have a bit of it, he's bound to completely and utterly misuse it. I'll also be interested to see what he does for a 'Plan B' now he's missing Shola. The man complaining about a lack of pace, introducing the bloke who's slower than an episode of New Tricks as soon as we're in the clarts. God only knows this year. Williamson up top?
