Joelinton7
Shit news about Mazraoui, hope he can come back healthily and safely. Having watched someone collapse and die of a heart attack whilst playing football it’s not to be joked about

frankpingel
Aye our competitors losing a player helps our cause but this is beyond football. Hope he recovers from this and remains healthy.

Conjo
If he has been Man Utds best player this season, Man Utd have been incredibly shit way beyond what my impression of them was. He looks so incredibly ordinary. Refuse to believe Man Utd would be poorer with Dalot at RB & Shaw at LB.
Abacus
Not related to Mazraoui specifically, as I understand these things can be congenital and are better caught in this case, or to Man Utd either so maybe this is the wrong thread or example, but I do think the number of games players are having to play now in all competitions and the stress their bodies are under without recovery times, is ridiculous now. All so we can have wall to wall football on TV. Think we need to seriously slim down some competitions for players' health, which would lead to better football anyway. The new CL format, club world cup, and the Nations League are all things in which to me where there are now pointless games which will cause serious risk to players breaking down for various reasons. Dalot at right back and Shaw at left back would have been first choice, but Mazraoui has played so well that Dalot isn't a guarantee to go back to right back when/if Shaw returns. Mazraoui hasn't put a foot wrong.
Conjo
I know, but isn't Shaw expected to be available for your next game? I don't think Mazaroui being out will weaken the team you'll be able to field. While I can't say I've seen him make notable defensive mistakes, I haven't seen him do much offensively either. Just an average PL right back in the Danny Simpson mould is my impression. I could be wrong. Have only watched 3 or so Man Utd games this season. TBG
To be fair to Erik, the team would be a lot stronger if he had been allowed to spend some money. It's not as if he could do anything with a mere £560million. Edited October 10, 2024 by TBG

Joelinton7
They’ve had a shocking time of it PR wise. Months to get a fraud in from us. Having Berrada work for them whilst still employed by City. Months publicly courting a new manager with EtH still in situ, they then keep EtH after a terrible season and give him millions of pounds. Shitter of a summer transfer window. Ending WFH in totalitarian manner. Prob the right decision with SAF but doesn’t look good to the less informed members of their fanbase. Glazers will be loving it. Deflection tactics working as planned.

GeordieDazzler
Obviously ridiculously successful when he was there, but he’s one of the people most culpable for the Glaizers, whom he has never slated publicly. 2m a year almost seems to be have buying his silence. Optics aren’t great but mad that they’ve been paying him so much for a ceremonial role.

Conjo
£2m a year for him to attend home games for the inevitable 2 second video of him in the stands so the commentators can say "he can't be happy with what he's seeing". He should have asked for more.
