La Parka Posted Sunday at 19:00 Share Posted Sunday at 19:00 Need a relegation rebuild. Stink like us in the Owen days.
JLC Posted Sunday at 19:05 Share Posted Sunday at 19:05 I think they'll just do enough for a top 15 finish.
midds Posted Sunday at 19:06 Share Posted Sunday at 19:06 First half I thought there were a few signs of things (very slowly) starting to click a little for them. The one touch move for the Zirkzee shot was nice and they broke well for the goal for example. But most of that is null and void if they've got hearts of ants, they're so feeble and easy to bully. They'll improve further I'm sure but that soft mentality is like a millstone for them, they're so weak and no system can compensate for that. They're still a huge club OFF the park but I honestly think we've past them ON the park, they've become the underdog when we play now, it no longer feels like a scalp when we beat them now. They're just another squad these days. Just another bare arse in the shower, there's nothing special about that team whatsoever

Doctor Zaius Posted Sunday at 21:35 Share Posted Sunday at 21:35 They've got the makings of a reasonably solid outfit. Yoro isnt bad. Mazraoui and Dalot can be solid enough. Ugarte is capable of sitting. They're a lower mid table side and a decent manager could fashion them into being a solid, hard to beat side. I genuinely think Moyes would have been a good appointment - even if it was never going to happen. Thats the type they need though, someone who can organize them and play to the strengths of their limited players. Instead Amorim will continue trying to enforce a style that worked at Sporting - where he had one of the best squads in the league. Its absolutely ill fitted to this Man Utd team and he either cant change it or wont change it. Either way, theyre going nowhere.
Skeletor Posted Sunday at 21:53 Share Posted Sunday at 21:53 Think both Ange and Amorim need to be given until the end of next season to finish off the excellent work they've both been doing.

Add that to being a team full of players who hide as they don’t want Ratboy to shout at them makes for an awful combination if thinks are not going their way. Thought Lenny, Ugarte and then Mount were absolutely chronic today and that’s before you get on to individual errors. Dunno if they’ll have money to spend in the summer but like every one of the last few seasons their squad needs a major overall in every position which won’t be cheap. Shamorim’s hair is fucking vile too. Maybe they’re protesting.
SteV Posted Sunday at 22:08 Share Posted Sunday at 22:08 Their bench today costs about £1.1m p/w in wages.

LionOfGosforth Posted Sunday at 22:18 Share Posted Sunday at 22:18 They're just another PL side now, not deserving of the amount of coverage they get from the media. So many ex-players of theirs commentating, wanking on and lamenting it all. Enough man.

We got large amounts of coverage even when we were at our shittest, oversized compared to our league performances.

I don't think it justifies 75% of the coverage, no matter who they play, or having ex-players commentating and dominating the punditry. It's like the media can't stand they no longer win everything and want it all back the way it was. Christ knows why, other teams having some success is great for the game. gazza ladra Posted Sunday at 23:22 Share Posted Sunday at 23:22 Still maintain the Top 4 became the Top 6, so the media could continue to talk about Man United non-stop. "Lads, it's Man United"
Emotic Posted Sunday at 23:35 Share Posted Sunday at 23:35 I remember us being linked with Ugarte while he was at Sporting. There’s a reason PSG got rid of him after a season.
KaKa Posted Sunday at 23:40 Share Posted Sunday at 23:40 Just listen to this clown man. Hope Man Utd get buried for a long time yet. Find this sort of person impossibly irritating.
Lazarus Posted Sunday at 23:40 Share Posted Sunday at 23:40 Ugarte is a good player tbf - him and joelinton were at each other all game. Nobody has been has been able to bully big joe yet. Dont know why teams try.

r0cafella Posted yesterday at 03:22 Share Posted yesterday at 03:22 I'm absolutely loving the free pass these lot are giving Anorim btw. As he can't be judge as this isn't his squad let's hope they spunk a ton on wingbacks this summer only to bin him in November.
Menace Posted yesterday at 03:37 Share Posted yesterday at 03:37 Hiring a manager that isn't suited to their current team, give him 300m or so then bin him off will be peak Man Reds.
Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 03:43 Share Posted yesterday at 03:43 They'll just get to spend another £150-200m in the summer and it'll eventually stick one year.
Sibierski Posted yesterday at 05:31 Share Posted yesterday at 05:31 (edited) They need to actually make some hits in the transfer market though. Dorgu looks crap, so if that’s what they’re targeting, it’s going to be more misses. Guy come on and seemingly made more fouls than forward passes.
