Froggy
Here's a serious question; you are manager of Man U and you have 60 million to spend. Do you splash it all on Di Maria, who you'll play in a wide position and who will be reliant on a bit of a ponderous midfield to supply him or do you say splash 3 or 4 million on HBA and use the rest to get a centre half and a midfielder in? Man U need a leader on the pitch, someone who will dominate a game, someone who really is worth 60 Million. I'm delighted they're spending that much as frankly I don't think he'll make that much of a difference and I'd rather be facing him than say a fit and motivated HBA. And is still have over 55 Million left to spend . I honestly said to Decky that I think Ben Arfa is class. I'd sign him for that surely.

Peppe
Swansea are about to sigh Modou Barrow from my local club Östersunds FK. Quoted price is around £1.5M, which is a lot of money for us. Will be very interesting to see how he does, the step up from the Swedish second division to the Premier League is quite big
Mr. Snrub
wearing the no 5 shirt, fuck that shit you don't have a striker wearing number 5!!!! Gyan wore #3 ffs. Always loved Lothar Matthaus wearing #10 mind, took the pens an all.

1878
A few years ago we started a home game against Chelsea with Denis Stracqualursi up front. This week we could start with Eto'o and Lukaku up front against them.

Froggy
Vidals agent was apparently in Manchester yesterday. Juventus are interested in Hernandez and he'll be used as a makeweight in the deal. Reported interest in Kagawa too. We're expected to make a move before the weekend.

I see no reason he can't play in a midfield 3 or 4 diamond in a similar (but more offensively effective role) to his old team mate Ramires. This is how they played at Benfica: http://www.zonalmarking.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/benfica-saviola-aimar-ramires-cardozo-diamond.jpg Only Jose Mourinho consistently played him as a winger at club level. Village Idiot
It's not like we've done a wonderful job of it. We'll be f***ed next year unless some of our academy prospects make it. 'f***ed' Aye, how will you cope with only Messi, Neymar and Suarez to choose from up front for 18 months? Our starting XI looks great and for the most part they should be allright for 2015 too - Alves notwithstanding. But we don't have much depth. This weekend we started a kid that one year ago wasn't even playing professional football. The problem is that we can't "stock up" as Dave said - by signing twice the players now - without ruling afoul of FFP rules for this season - don't laugh, that's what our board has said. So we don't really have a large squad right now. That of course, calls into question spunking 80m in a single forward, but hey, it's us.
