Cisse is fantastic at getting between the two CBs as well, it's all about decent quality crosses.

The sort that Gouffran and Obertan can provide at will hence their value to the team no doubt.

Obertan looks upset at getting subbed at half time :(

It's like Pardew told us, Obertan only plays well when all the fans are dead good to him.

Ayoze has looked very confident and relaxed, considering the jump he's making from the Spanish Second Division to the Premiership. If he makes a mistake, he shrugs it off and he's back looking for the ball. He's got a good attitude.

Physically he's at a disadvantage in this division. It just remains to be seen if he can overcome that.

I'm pleased he got his goal because he's looked like our best striker from the few cameos he's had. Whether or not that performance will lead to a run of games in the team is something completely different though. Pardew seems to "protect" the younger players or keep them out of the 1st team until they fall into obscurity.

He's much more of an all-rounder than a poacher IMO.

Yup, looks more like a classic off the striker to me, makes very intelligent runs, uses the ball well, can beat people

Yes I see the same things. I think he's be brilliant as a number 10 playing off a main striker.
