If Wales win tonight then they top their group, Northern Ireland are 4 points clear of the 3rd placed team in their group. Both Scotland and Repbulic of Ireland (If you want to class them as a home nation) have an outside chance of finishing in the top 2 of their group. Scotland and ROI play each other tomorrow. If ROI fail to win you could say that it's all over for them. One of them will probably get the 3rd placed spot and Scotland are currently ranked as the best 3rd placed team so won't have to go through any play offs as it stand. The should have really been able to beat this Wales team with ease, but for what ever reason it just never seems to click for them, and when ever i've seen them (Which admittedly isn't much) they have been a very boring side, and when you have a predominately attacking team team, it just doesn't make sense. That's never meant good enough at the top international level though, the gap between international qualifying for major tournaments and most of the premier league ( say 6th down is quite big) Courtois and Hazard are undoubtedly class, maybe De Bruyne too haven't seen enough to comment but the rest are not as good as they are hyped to be and they have more issues than just the manager being quite clearly shit.
