Klaus
They need a win, we don't really care. Can only see one outcome
Sima
Why hasn't he locked the thread yet? Sickening behaviour.
BillClinton
The annoying thing is that if we win (lol) some idiots will think that's good enough reason to give the job to Carver. If we lose we hand them another three points for their relegation fight, again... Hope it's a 0-0 with no shots on goal.
plenum
Never been so oblivious to a derby in my life! running from late 80s.
midds
Don't expect anything from the game, as has already been mentioned Sunderland need to win this one really, the pressure will be seriously on them to carry on their winning run. If they fail to win then they're in a huge struggle to stay up and that's the difference this time. In the last few meetings the pressure has been on us to get a result and they've enjoyed the role of the underdog with nothing to lose, different this time and that could work for them or against them. Not that arsed what happens really, certainly not nervous. Nothing major is going to happen whatever the result, a win wouldn't solve the inherent problems at the club and another loss would barely register on the fuck-o-meter. Would prefer a win obviously but I know that would enhance Carver's chances of getting the job next year. Meh.

Segun Oluwaniyi
I cannot remember the last time this wasn't a terrible football match. Maybe the 5-1, but even this was mostly the result of a shambolic Sunderland.
ExiledGeordie
Usual defeat probably by a single goal in this one. They want it more at the moment.
Belfast Mags
I think we are both so shit, the only outcome can be a draw 0-0, no shots from either side, an absolutely borefest
Interpolic
I think we'll sneak it 1-0 and mixed emotions will ensue. A win will be what Carver would hang his hat on, it's the game of his life. This could earn him millions.

Pilko
Ideal result would be a draw where we get fucking battered and fluke a goal, much like the 1-1 Milner game under Allardyce.
