Now it's time for a real tournament with big stakes he's showing his true colours. The one surprise for me is that he hasn't taken Maguire as he's a huge set piece threat. Infinitely Content Posted May 21 Share Posted May 21 Must be missing something with Lewis-Skelly, as I don't think he's particularly close to Hall's level from what I've seen. I must be wrong. Feel for Hall like, he's almost a complete player and some of his performances this season have been genuinely outstanding. He's really improved defensively this season and his ball carrying ability and press resistance is as good as you will see anywhere in world football in his position. NUFCDoog Posted May 21 Share Posted May 21 (edited) Appreciate its about a team rather than a squad, and over the years we've had/picked the "best" players and its not worked, but it seems mental to me that Gibbs-White, Bowen and Hall aren't in, yet the likes of Skelly, Henderson and Maduaeke are. Hopefully it pays off, and to be fair you look at teams that win tournaments there are random players in the line up, but this is the first tournament where there is a last 32, so its one where you're going to really need a squad more than ever, not just a decent 11.
