Guest
How many balls did he drop today, 4? I know it was slippy but there were a few he came to punch too and wasn’t convincing. Tough opposition in terms of shithousery in the box tbf.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
He rarely seems to hold the ball at the first time of asking, which is a little unsettling. Again.
Aiston
Right, after a few good games it's time to go back to shitting myself every time the ball is anywhere near Darlow.
joeyt
Thought he was fine today
AyeDubbleYoo
He was OK but he made 3-4 mistakes that could have led to goals if someone had latched into them. We don’t have anyone else so it doesn’t really matter.

Drop all those balls with Rashford and Martial around next time and it will be very different
johnny36
Im fairness to him with the weather conditions it didnt help. Thought he played well
Guest neesy111
He's done well since he's come back however I'd still have Dubs any day.

toontownman
Thought the commentators were a bit harsh. Seemed more vindicating the other England goalkeepers. Conditions weren't great. He was solid up to losing control, which could have been conditions or lack of concentration. He has a little wobble after but did well. Solid back up, as mentioned to Dubs. This is the player we signed from Forest and were hyped up about. He just needs more confidence and authority at times, which will come with more games. The feed I was watching had Michael Gray as co-commentator - after half time he said something about Darlow being a candidate for the England job, then hammered him for every error he made thereafter. I don't think it's that the commentators are harsh, it's that they're idiots.
cubaricho
Nice to have a backup like this again in the same vein as Harper. Seems happy to be in that situation and does, at bare minimum, a 6/10 job every time he's put between the sticks.
Cronky
He struggled to deal with crosses and high balls into the box, and fumbled the ball a few times. Conditions would have played a part, but it wasn't a good performance.
joeyt
Thought he dealt with most of the high balls fine tbh
Newcastle Fan
Considering it was pissing down and we were playing a team that plays half football half rugby i thought he did quite well.
MickMack
Yeah, don’t get the nitpicking, he was fantastic against spurs, dealt with almost everything last night despite the conditions and their style of play, he is the last person we should be moaning about. Menace
He seems far more confident as a keeper, always used to look shakey. Happy for him.
St1pe
I like Darlow. He’s a really solid backup keeper for this league but that’s taking the piss. The visual improvement when we upgraded to Dubravka was incredible. Pickford has been shite but Pope (despite being poor yesterday) and Henderson are miles above his level. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
If Darlow's seriously getting a mention () then you've got to include Ramsdale tbh.
Ikon
Ridiculous for anyone to even mention him as an option right now.
Guest neesy111
Classic English player shite that, has a very good games and then getting talked about England squad. He's also 30, he really should be at his peak now.
Guest
The lad looks good for the same reason Pickford looked 'good' at Sunderland ffs.

He's also 30, he really should be at his peak now. Exactly, also reflective of the Newcastle issue, where a player can have a few good games in succession, then their actual quality is subsequently overblown and vice-versa That's not to say it's an exclusively Newcastle problem, but it's more keenly felt here I reckon
Sho Time
He's shit. Makes routine saves look spectacular, incompetent at catching the ball first time and looks like Mats Sels gave him lessons on how to palm the ball back into the danger area. Can't wait till Dubs is back. Darlow is probably about Pickford level.
