LFEE
Spurs worst European defeat was 8-0 away to Cologne. Just found out this clown was playing centre midfield for them. "No more goals" springs to mind Wasn't that during the first season with English clubs in the Intertoto cup? As far as I recall, Spurs really didn't want to bother, so ended up loaning loads of Wimbledon youth team players and free agents just to put out any kind of team. Yep. Stephen Carr played also

Dr Venkman
He didn't say no more goals What did he say? He said 'no more' whilst making a 'no more' gesture, and then said 'get it up there' (oo er) whilst making a long ball gesture. He was telling Simpson to stop playing it to feet and just lump it. I've said this before on here but 'no more goals' is a better story. As if he'd be telling Simpson if his message was no more goals
Darth Crooks
Nowt used to piss me off more than Danny Simpsons unerring tiki-taka tendencies. That throw in maybe.
Pilko
That game Tiote wandering around on the edge of our pen box when Walcott made it 4-3 must be the angriest I was since Dyer was leaning on the post.

Papavasiliou
No chance. He doesn't have the balls to come back. Doesn't need balls. In his mind he did nothing wrong and will be welcomed back by the adoring northerners like that dream he had once.
Stal
No chance. He doesn't have the balls to come back. Doesn't need balls. In his mind he did nothing wrong and will be welcomed back by the adoring northerners like that dream he had once. Sadly, this. As managers (and even politicians) have proved in recent memory, they can perform a job that is not down to the public's expectations to the point of alienating huge swathes of people and as long as their chairman backs them, nothing will happen to them. So they take some abuse on matchday. Big deal, they just suck up to their boss and do all the things asked of them by those above and nothing happens. They just ride through it, knowing it will blow over and feeling like they've got one over on the fans once again. They rarely have the integrity to resign when they realise the fanbase is against them. If this sh-t camel came back, he wouldn't care. It's a payday without repercussion. AyeDubbleYoo
I dunno, he seemed to care quite a lot when he was nearly in tears on the touchline. Anyway, it's not happening.

Here, he tells Adam Bate what he hopes to offer as a pundit and why he is not done with management just yet… The newest pundit in the building has just finished his stint on Sky Sports News before being whisked away for another chat. "I am learning and picking up little things as I go along," he explains. There are the usual handshakes, of course, but he also wants to know not just people's names but to understand precisely what their roles are within the company. In short, Alan Pardew is still thinking like a manager.
