Newcastle Fan
Very surprised he decided to play safe and negative in the fucking championship, we need to be attacking teams and putting them on the back foot. what the fuck was that with Anita on the right side of midfield. Flip
Very surprised he decided to play safe and negative in the f***ing championship, we need to be attacking teams and putting them on the back foot. what the f*** was that with Anita on the right side of midfield. Rafa isn't the right manager if you want attacking team. We'll be promoted easily, but not because we play great attacking football.
Ronaldo
I love Rafa but Christ did he get that all wrong.
ElDiablo
Did the same against Villa. Kept it tight early on and they gained encouragement. This Anita on the wing rubbish needs to stop too.
Disco
Shades of Villa away. Hopefully it's a lesson learned (and best to do it now before it becomes costly).
triggs
I love Rafa but Christ did he get that all wrong. Not too worried though, its a 46 game season and hopefully he's already seen the problems that need rectifying

Guest
I think Diame solves one area. Mitrovic coming back helps another. Left-back. Should be priority imo we can't rely on it all coming from Janmaat again this season.
afar
Think he failed tonight, he's got to pick a better line up and has to work out how to beat the crap teams we'll be facing all season. He's good enough to do that, but not beating the crap teams was highlighted as a major weakness when he was at Liverpool.
Kanj
I love Rafa but Christ did he get that all wrong. Not too worried though, its a 46 game season and hopefully he's already seen the problems that need rectifying Let down by the ones he trusted + he got it wrong. Regardless some of those idiots need to not miss hit 2 yard passes or fluff shots from the 6 or lose the mongoloid giant up top on a corner. He's going to get ruthless with these guys this week. Fully expect and believe we will run the table - just need to make sure we fix this quickly.
Lotus
He has to fix a completely different mentality now. Last season he had to get the team to work for each other because they were expected to lose. This season they're expected to win. The players have to do more than turn up. They have to make the better decisions going forward.
nufcjb
If he's going to make mistakes and learn from them, better it be now than later in the season. Hope he learned that: 1. Anita is never a right winger. 2. Colback was, is and will forever be shit. 3. Hanley is Williamson Mk2. Play Mbemba when available. 4. Don't throw on Shelvey when we're down. Never going to help. 5. Two minions up front won't work. Need a goalscoring Mitrovic/Carrol type up front. 6. Get Ayoze off set pieces and fucking sort out both offensive and defensive set pieces. 7. Ritchie is great. Keep him on the right.

Ronaldo
Like Villa away we should've been pressing from the first minute. We didn't for some reason and handed the game to the opposition. I'm not sure why.
joeyt
Praying him and Colback have had a massive argument

Dinho lad
His methods take time. Footballers are too dumb to understand them that quickly. But no excuses for that poor lineup.
midds
If he's going to insist on 4-2-3-1 then he's got to change the personnel. Playing 2 sitting midfielders like Hayden and that other cunt isn't going to win you games or get you promotion from this division. Got it wrong tonight and needs to adjust the system or the players he chooses for the roles imo.
Shelveys Hair
Rafa was using psychology, he was showing Colback and Anita how shiite they were so they dont cry when they sit on the bench all season.

Should be priority imo we can't rely on it all coming from Janmaat again this season. Need a winger IMO, if nothing else it stops the idea of Anita ever playing there again. I'm not too concerned really, i trust him to make the right changes and to get on the right track relatively quickly.
nufcjb
Would Anita be better back at right back? And swap positions with Janmaat perhaps?
Mole_Toonfan
I don't have an issue with Anita playing fullback, he should never play on the wings or in midfield though.

Hanshithispantz
Janmaats never a winger like - he's great at overlapping from deep. Ritchie stays there anyway but LW is still up for grabs.
