Absolutely stole that. Take it and run, we deserved nothing, but at least it wasn't another thrashing...mainly thanks to Elliot tbh.

FT 1-1. Huge feck up from Allardyce. We were there for the taking and they let us back in. Pardew couldn't have done better.

It ended positively and give Rafa another week with them. On this evidence, you'd think both are going down.

We stopped the rot, no 7 in a row for them and more importantly a spirited second half and finally a goal for Mitro. The draw didn't do either team any good but the game against Norwich now got a whole lot bigger. The great escape is still on, not conceding a loss to Sunderland was the most important thing.

Battled back well in the second half to be fair, even if we were desperately short on quality in the final third. Allardyce got what he deserved for shutting up shop so early - footballing cowardice at its finest.

Got a decent break til the next match now as well to give Rafa time to work a bit more with the team, or at least we don't have that many international players that are likely to get crocked...

Bollocks man, we deserved a point in the second half.
