But who will show the games? Which radio station will you be able to listen to? When are the live-broadcast timeslots? And will you be able to watch Newcastle live if you don’t live in the UK? Here’s the extensive guide to all those live broadcasting questions and much more: Can I watch Newcastle live on TV in the Championship next season? The Magpies may have be missing out on the exorbitant Premier League TV revenue deal, but they will still be on the box next season. Sky Sports owns all the right to Football League matches for the 2016-17 campaign - and 92 Championship matches will be screened in all, including the play-offs. What’s more, second-tier sides are guaranteed a minimum of two home matches to be broadcast live - so at the very least Newcastle will be on live on Sky Sports twice next season, though they will likely be shown far more frequently. When are the main slots for Championship football shown? There are three ‘main’ Sky Sports time slots for Championship football during which games are shown most which, and there are also two ‘secondary’ slots which are added in every now and again. The main slots are: - Friday, 7.45pm - Saturday, 5.30pm - Sunday, 12.00pm The secondary slots are: - Thursday, 7.45pm - Monday, 7.45pm What’s more, during the festive period, What’s more, during the festive period, on bank-holiday weekends and when there are midweek fixtures, games can be shown on different days and in alternative timeslots. When are time changes announced for matches? The original fixture list for the Championship campaign will be released on June 22, but then it will change over the course of the season due to games being selected for live broadcast. Sky Sports shows highlights of the Football League on a Saturday evening, as well as on a Sunday morning and at regular slots during the week. Also, Channel 5 air all the goals from 9pm on a Saturday night (or during the week if there are mid-week fixtures) on ‘Football League Tonight’. The FA Cup and Capital One Cup are on TV too, aren’t they? They are indeed. BT Sport (25 matches) and the BBC (16 games) split the FA Cup coverage, so you can even watch that competition on terrestrial TV if the Magpies turn their woeful recent record around under Benitez. Just needs a quick goalscorer alongside him. Don't think that's necessarily true. He could work for himself up top if we actually controll possession. He's a big player who is already very good in the link up play. He'll get plenty of goals for us in this league if we controll possesion and don't just aim the ball up top and hope he wins a header.
