Ikon
Is he one of those players that is talented but is wasting his footballing ability?

TK-421
Well he's clearly only here due to Aarons injury, so if he's more productive than Aarons when he gets the chance(s), then it could be a decent low-risk loan signing.
toontownman
Happy with this provided we also bring in another winger.
Leazes1986
Would be good if we get Atsu and Lazaar in this weekend, then we can hopefully concentrate on getting the two big ones in, a winger and striker.
Yorkie
Any 'external' reason for why Atsu didn't kick a ball for Bournemouth last season, or is he just shit?

I'd love to see an injection of pace, good wing play and crossing. It's hugely lacking. To stop looking lob sided and one paced would be great. I would take Stephen Glass back to be honest. Used to really like him.
aussiemag
Rafa would know about him from his one at Chelsea though?
Ikon
Think Shelvey will thrive with pacey players around him.
hoppaz
Fitness issues although he did play after his loan in Jan. Leazes1986
We forget the time Sir Bobby played Brian Kerr on the right wing in the Champions League and against Liverpool don't we.

Tubestationatmidnight
Bigi signs for Coventry, permanently. Shame how his career with us ended, looked promising once. He really never. One decent goal and his level is league 1 as shown. Having him playing a European quarter final against benfica just highlights how criminally mismanaged we have been this last 10 years or so

Wullie
In all seriousness I liked him a lot and Pardew fucked his career out of spite. Cool. Irony is that he set up our best first half chance in that Benfica game when he put a header on a plate for Cisse who fluffed it.

I dislike pardew as much as anyone but it's ridiculous to say he ruined his career. If he was that good how come not even a championship team is in for him!? Just another part of us being tight signing and playing players way below the level required for a club like Newcastle. Not a pop at bigirimana as there has been loads over the last 5 years or so
