Guest chopey
Did he make a mistake in an away game and then went over to the fans at the next home game to apologise, or did I just imagine that?
Wallace
Did he make a mistake in an away game and then went over to the fans at the next home game to apologise, or did I just imagine that? He always made an effort to apologise to the fans after poor performances - not sure about a specific mistake he made.

henke
Santon would of been ok if the highs had balanced the lows, but they didn't. On a good day he was ok, on a bad day he was shocking.
Astroblack
He always had good games against Chelsea as did most of our team. He bagged a few assists against them.

TRon
There's a canny left back from Inter Milan who would probably fancy the move. First thing I thought of when I heard the mackem move broke down. Wouldn't be surprised if we were in for him now. just happy the move broke down and he's not going there. Same here. I thought he flattered to deceive when he was here, but I'd still hate to see him end up at Sunderland.
Ronaldo
Santon managed to stay likable while making countless errors leading to goals and giving you very little going forward. Coming from Inter and the Italian national side with Mourinho's praise compounded with his unassuming nature probably explains it. I liked him, but he's better off with a slower pace of football. He also seemed to care, it got to him when we lost and that swayed a few (inc me) as well.

Bimpy474
Amazing to me is how pundits doubted if Rafa would know how to get out of the Championship. What players he'd need, he wouldn't know nothing of the level of players and teams in it. The signings so far look perfect for getting us back up. Expert pundits my arse. cp40
my head is struggling to deal with the club seemingly making appropriate signings.
KaKa
Nice young versatile player that has come up in a really decent club, and has already gained experience in the Championship with Hull. Love it. Our work this summer has been absolutely beautiful.

Yorkie
On paper we're making the exact sort of signings we need to be making. Hayden and Hanley both seem appropriate too, with the transfer funds presumably wearing quite thin at this point.

Leazes_End_Mag
Can't say i've seen too much of Hayden or Hanley and the reports on both are mixed, especially Hanley. The reassuring part about it all though is that these are Rafa's choices and he will know how to improve them to fit in with and be successsful in the project he's building. mighty__mag
I always liked Santon. Thought he was classy on the ball, and canny enough defensively. Not great, but decent. I never subscribed to the line of thinking that he was susceptible to shockers...I remember 1 or 2 but I never ever looked at him as a real issue in the team. He was a total liability, defending was both arms behind his back, going forward the most predictable fullback in the league at the time, easy to play against if you watched one video, all he did was play leftback with a right foot, so every single attack would mean he'd have to check onto his right to provide a cross. The only one or two times he played in a natural position, that should have been on the right side, and possibly midfield not defence was vs Wigan and a game he actually did ok and scored one of his few goals. In all honesty was never a fan, but like so so many of our players he was not used correctly, that's my opinion.

He seemed to like the Toon.
Kanj
He was never a right back. He looked okay there but he fucking cut in just like he did on the left. He played under Alan Pardew man, no idea if he would have developed or not.
Ikon
Seems like we have have changed the window cleaning company to Lee Ryder now instead, going by all the info he seems to be receiving from the club. I doubt he has been doing proper journalism. Seems to know alot more regarding possible transfers compared to before. Starforth even better.
