Just because someone is playing above their level it shouldn't invite personal abuse of any kind.

Kanj
Instrumental in getting us back up, and unleashing the J7 train. Good luck to him, all jokes aside. Will always respect him for the effort he put in under Rafa.
mattypnufc
Thanks for the Championship season. Thanks for being dogshit against Norwich and J7 having to find himself. Bye.
Yorkie
Surprised to see he played so little last season (unless Transfermarkt missed an injury). Hope he gets a good move.

Regardless him ending up here longer than required he never caused any issues and one minor pre-season on pitch incident aside (not all his doing either) he’s behaved professionally by all accounts and accepted offers to play elsewhere rather than dig his heals in and take the easy life. TRon
Didn't he refuse to go out on loan and chose to stay here picking up his wages for twiddling his thumbs?

Wouldn't you? Footballers or not they are still human, and it's human nature to go for something for nothing if possible. Ultimately we are all evolved to do as little work as possible for the maximum gain. Mazzy
I'd drop into L1 if I was him. He's 33 now, if he wants to actually play a full season this coukd be his last chance. He was never blessed with pace but he's a decent all round defender. He'd do alright at a Derby or Bolton, one of the larger clubs who'll have a shot at promotion and can still pay him a good wage. Geordie Ahmed
Did well his first couple of seasons but clearly needed to be moved on earlier but that's not his fault, was classic Ashley extending his contract because it was the cheap thing to do Decent enough servant for us and ultimately that red card proved to be a blessing
