Other clubs' transfers

Apparently Aguero's salary is "only" about €5m a year. No brainer at that price especially as a free transfer. Always found it a bit odd that Barca and Real pay so much above the odds to players considering that everybody wants to play for them anyway if all things are equal

Maybe there is a little bit of the other way around. Players want to play for Barca Real because of the prestige and for the insane salaries they pay. Griezmann salary reports, if true, are frightening.

What are Aston Villa buying players this early in the window for ? That means they have to pay a couple of months wages before the season starts. Morons.

I'm pleased uncle Mike is watching the penny's and not buying till August, it will be an honour to read this year's accounts in 5 years time.

There's no chance Grealish is going.

Owners have said all along, plenty of money available to strengthen, no pressure whatsoever to raise money and Grealish seems very happy.

It's more about making the decent signings which would have him want to stay than it is moving him on.

Can't remember a thing about Buendia in the PL two years ago. Only scored 1 goal and played every game. Has he improved dramatically?

Tore the Championship apart and looked a class apart.

Although, so did Shelvey.

I think he was up there with the  most chances created in the PL last time he was in it

Know it’s his home club and all Brummie, but if the chance came to go to a Man City or a Man Utd, there’s zero chance he’d pass that up imo, and rightly so. Even if you bought wisely to complement him.

His contract is till 2025. Villa don't need the money. I don't think Grealish is the type to down tools and kick up a fuss at his home club. Unless City come up with Coutinho level (140 million pounds) bid, just don't see the need for Villa to consider selling.

I think he’s ambitious enough to move clubs away from Villa to a team competing for the title. And rightly so. He might not ask for or demand a transfer, but if a CL club came in, of course he’d be interested in moving on for the sake of his career.
