Probably would like to keep him as a backup but allow him to go to another club as a thank you for his time at Wolves maybe? Maybe more suited to a five at the back formation too. Â Yeah i think Lampard plays a back 5 too. Everton won't be as easy to beat this year but are going to struggle massively for goals. They are effectively Burnley now. Keane seems to be completely out of picture now after the terrible season he had. Keane has been a terrible signing for them. They kept persisting with him too.  I doubt he will be there come September. Will end up in the champo or at forest

Perhaps this is our chance to get rid of Wood and sign the golden boot winner Weghorst

They don't have the players to attempt to play football this year, so it looks as though they have gone for the defensive options.  It's grim but I can see the logic.  Coady's actually really good at distributing the ball from the back in a back three. Looks like Lampard is using that back three setup at Everton this season so it makes sense. Pata
It's a really good signing for them imo, still only 29 too.
Kid Icarus
You'd think Coady's a good signing like, there's the potential for him to have the off-field influence Trippier had on us, and on the field he's a decent player in a 3.
Ketsbaia
Would rather be Wolves back-up than be at Everton right now. And he's a Liverpool fan. Just all a bit odd.

gazza ladra
There was a infographic floating around six month back that indicated Coady and Schaar to two of the weakest CBs in the league. (Rather weak by this one metric.)  Both were outliers in the bottom left hand corner of the chart. In Schaar case, it was IMO Bruce trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Maybe Lampard knows what he is doing… Edited August 9, 2022 by gazza ladra

Its like watching Mike Ashley on steroids.  It's clear now that SAF was holding the club together in the first years of the glazers.  To see Man United in such a mess doesn't bring satisfaction because if truth be told, I'd rather they were winning the league than a Chelsea.  They aren't even just average owners, they are terrible owners. When Brighton and Brentford have clear plans in place but Man United don't, there's something seriously amiss.  There's a million names who wouldn't have cost a fortune, that Man United could have turned to in this window. Boubakar Kamara for example. Its an absolute shitshow and I'm sympathetic to any fan going through it because we were there a year ago.  It doesn't matter if you are Man U or Carlisle, you just want to see a plan, a vision, something to get behind.     What an incredibly fair and mature take. Fair play to you.  Personally I hope their misery continues indefinitely and this decline is only the beginning of a much longer period demise for the club and utter dejection for their fans.

Kid Icarus
I'm all for getting the likes of the Glazers out of the game, but it's still really, really funny and they've still spent more than enough to be successful.
