Danilo is supposed to be very very good. Had a bad spell towards the end of the season, hence, the lower price than expected. Wonder if we should’ve been in for him. Young central midfielder that seems to have a lot of potential.

That Joao Gomes Wolves are signing is supposed to be really highly rated too right?

Lots of really decent central midfielders moving around. Hope we can land one ourselves.

Looking at the posts on the Lorient Twitter feed reacting to it, their fans are foaming.

Not surprised. Having their best season ever to become a feeder club for Bournemouth.

Probably been covered a million times but why is there seemingly no obstacle (work permits) in signing players direct from Brazil - Scarpa, Danilo, Gomes, Santos etc?

All Brazilians are exceptional talents.

A Forest fan on Talksport before Christmas said even of they went down it wouldn't matter because they would sell all their platers for double what they paid and get them off the wage bill.

He must of seen the waste land of former EPL clubs scattered around lower leagues scrapping a living after paying Jamie O'hara £60k a week to stink up the place

Aye, he's bang on tbf, there'll be a queue of clubs just salivating to pay 70m for Gibbs White, 40m for Hendo...nee bother

Really awful end to his time there after he's done so well for them. No idea why his situation has been handled so badly.

Aye. Fully expect Brighton to bounce back. Respect to Mac Allister, the only player to show any respect to Brighton for what they’ve done for his career.
