Replacing Wan Bissaka with Mazraoui and making some profit in the process is also very good business. Any truth in him being involved in a hit & run in the last couple of days? If they invest the money well, then they could actually really push on. Going back to Zaha being their only decent player will just push them back towards fighting relegation, and to be honest if they don’t invest the money, they would absolutely deserve it. The first sign of hope they have had since coming into the Premier League, and they are prepared to piss it up the wall. I expect nothing less from their owner though, an absolute fucking tosser who has fooled everyone into thinking he’s a fan when in reality he’s in it for the money. Availability is the best ability. He has been held up, with Jordan Ibe, in the past as an iffy or failed Eddie Howe transfer due to a slow start, but that was knee jerk at the time and is now complete bollocks. The big fee for him makes Solanke yet another Howe transfer triumph. I like Solanke, but £65m for a 26 year old who has had only one good season in the Premier does seem like a risk. I think he'll do well though.

Wouldn't be shocked if they have leaked this to put pressure on us to up our offer for Guehi.

gbandit
It’s psychotic, it’s like they fell upon a strategy that didn’t work and decided to just go all in on the strategy. They sell their best prospects so have no soul or club loyalty. They’re the #1 mercenary club in existence. They overspend on players at every single juncture. They give huge contracts to people who are either unproven or are likely to lose motivation because they’re made for life. They may have found ways around PSR but they must be losing insane amounts of money year on year. What do they have to show for it? And I’d put serious money on them finishing no higher than sixth this season
