Out of interest, which players have we, as a fanbase, "hated" after leaving us?

Cole seems to be the obvious one. Cabaye, Owen, Enrique, Duff - possibly Carroll at the time?

Has Bellingham gone backwards or was he never as good as we thought?

The footballer equivalent to Paris. Incredibly favourable PR, but in reality a bit underwhelming and at times absolutely shite. But vibes and 'aura' and that though.

I mean he's 36 in 91 for Real Madrid in first couples seasons as an AM, and is still 21 years old

That being said, he's played like 300 professional games already and has a few recurring niggles. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a bit of burnout already this season.

I would have Walker, Neville, Zabaleta, Lauren, Ivanovic, Sagna, and Azpilicueta ahead, along with the mentioned names. If I was picking a team for a big game, I’m not relying on TAA over any of them.

Barton, Watson, Beye 🤣

Joking aside I'd put Trips above him over the course of his career

I have no feelings one way or another regarding Cole, Enrique, Duff, Carroll, Jenas or anyone else tbh.

However, Owen.. I hate that greedy twat with a passion.

Trent ain't the right back that real madrid need. How can you be constantly conceding and decide bringing in trent as the answer. But I guess it really doesn't matter when FFP will never be a problem for you. Plus its also on a free.

Owen is the only one from that list imo. Was there any reason to hate Cabaye? I hated Duff when he was here but an irrelevance thereafter. Enrique got his comeuppance and Carroll was complicated; I was fuming at the time but let's face it, it was just Ashley.

It was always very sour with Bellamy after he left.

Cabaye refused to play for us and only played when we guaranteed he could leave in January.

He also missed a pen for Palace at SJP which was funny

I find it hilarious that over the Klopp years Liverpool had a proper hatred of Madrid, even saying their second CL final against them would be revenge for losing the first, only to lose it too. Losing Trent to them will sting like fuck.

The fact liverpool aint gonna receive a penny from the sale of a top academy grown player is so hilarious.

Harvey Elliott - Sepp Van den Berg - Bobby Clark - Fabio Carvalho - Jordan  Ibe - Dom Solanke, just to name half a dozen, how much did Liverpool pay and how much did they receive for these players?

And then they cry when TAA leaves … works both ways

They need someone who can replace Kroos, and TAA does that with his passing ability from RB. Valverde RCM helps immensely and they will spend big on a top RCB.

Saliba comes to mind.

I’m not sure Madrid will spend big on a CB.

Their policy in recent years is exploitative in the main. They needed a CB and RB last summer and didn’t get one. Lost massive squad players in Nacho and Kroos and did nothing to address it.
