kingxlnc Posted Tuesday at 21:49 Share Posted Tuesday at 21:49 That's a crazy buy. A worldie, the equivalent of buying Musiala, Bellingham etc not even in their prime yet. What's higher than a purple chip?
Chicken Dancer Posted Tuesday at 21:57 Share Posted Tuesday at 21:57 Ridiculous price that. He’s a very talented player but that’s mental, but when Chelsea can sign Enzo/Mudryk for mad money, is it really that mad? They can just write it off if it doesn’t work anyway. But just feels like Liverpools problem last season was hardly in attacking midfield Oh it was. So many tight games.
Stottie Posted yesterday at 04:28 Share Posted yesterday at 04:28 Szobo on the bench? I'd be more afraid of Liverpool if they were looking to strengthen defensively. Its all change for them with a new keeper, a midfielder replacing Trent, and Kerkez coming in, but little talk of whether their new outfield players can actually defend. The time bomb of replacing VVD is also still to come. They were hopeless at defending corners in the Carabao final and made it easy for us.

They always seem to get insane money for their backup players too. Edited yesterday at 04:51 by Menace
Andy84 Posted yesterday at 05:03 Share Posted yesterday at 05:03 Ornstein reckons Nunez could be off to Saudi. That would heavily offset what they’re paying for Wirtz

They loathe the modern game and the inflated fees and wages paid and expressly do not participate in such activities. They back every man who pulls on the red shirt, no ifs but or maybes! All hail the the world's most righteous and just team.
Sibierski Posted yesterday at 05:23 Share Posted yesterday at 05:23 Can’t see what the upside is to spending that on Wirtz? Very good player in Bundesliga, but not a generational talent IMO, especially at prices and wages that comfortably signs two good players. Musiala was available for less last summer. Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 05:32 Share Posted yesterday at 05:32 I keep getting Sesko and Wirtz mixed up. So out of touch these days.
Pixelphish Posted yesterday at 06:02 Share Posted yesterday at 06:02 We were promised they had a financial ceiling though. Could be a sensational signing mind.
TaylorJ_01 Posted yesterday at 06:09 Share Posted yesterday at 06:09 I could see this Gyokeres being a flop if Man Utd get him. Had a couple (very) good seasons but he's been very average for 90% off his career and is 27. Smells a bit like a Michu purple patch in a poor league. Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 06:11 Share Posted yesterday at 06:11 Yeah I'm not sure he's the top level striker they need either. Was hoping he'd go to Arsenal.

He did very well in the championship too, and scores a lot for Sweden. I don't think he's going to be Haaland/Isak level, but he won't be a Nunez either. Froggy Posted yesterday at 06:18 Share Posted yesterday at 06:18 Gyokeres has scored more goals in two seasons than Michu did in his entire career.
Froggy Posted yesterday at 06:24 Share Posted yesterday at 06:24 Worth noting none of our reputable sources have ever reported anything about Gyokeres. I'm not sure where it's actually come from aside from the lazy Amorim link. I'd be calling bullshit only Romano has been posting a lot about it. Andy Mitten, who's as good as it gets for us now, said he was speaking to upper management at the club this week and Gyokeres wasn't mentioned at all as a target. Also said the Mbeumo wage is nowhere near what's been reported.
KingArthur Posted yesterday at 06:45 Share Posted yesterday at 06:45 I dont think ManU are after Gyökores. And I dont think he would move there either.
