My favourite thing about Woodman was that he lived here for about 6 years before realising Newcastle had a beach

Absolutely blew my mind that. Aside from the complete lack of curiosity to go anywhere surely he was regularly on the team plane that would have come in to land from the coast.

“We have beautiful beaches. I hadn’t actually been on a beach in Britain before I came to Swansea. I’m told there are a few around Newcastle, but I didn’t get around to seeing them.

Not sure. Ornstein saying if he's to leave Brentford he wants us and only us. I know they have a year option but they're running the risk of losing him for a lot less next summer.

If we do go higher I hope it's just performance add ons or else I'd want us to be patient and wait.

He could be key to them staying up in a transitional season, so selling him for £40m+ next season is worth the loss of £20m this season.

That's an annoying one if he's happy playing second fiddle. Would have been a great home grown cheat code.

Does he actually have any affinity to the club or area? He just ended up in our youth system due to his dad, didn't he? Can't imagine he'd have agreed to an inevitable bench role for us.

For all the transfers going that’s the least annoying one I can think of. He was never good enough. Home grown or not

Might be best for both parties to wait then. We can just struggle through another season with Dalot at RWB.

Takes big money to get players out of these so called "smaller clubs" nowadays, and fair play to them.

Think it's going to continue to make the league more and more competitive, as they'll either keep their players, or have a ton of money that could potentially push them further on if they nail their recruitment, which a lot of them are increasingly tending to do.

Bournemouth in particular will be very interesting this summer. They'll lose a few of their better players, but they're going to have a boat load of money to play with.

Will be interesting to see what players they get in for Iraola, and how well and quickly that all comes together.

It's an easy win. He'll be the best 3rd choice keeper in the league, we could get shot of a couple of ours and fill one of our Academy based spots on someone we'll likely never see play anyway.

Not sure if posted here but John Duran is apparently close to joining Fenerbache, another player who will have a letdown of a career due to their ridiculous and inflated ego

Good to see Man U will be taken to the cleaners for Mbembo on fees and wages whilst still having huge problems at CM, CF, GK, RWB etc etc.

Yeah, I get it but in the grand scheme of things it’s mostly irrelevant.
