But had a potential clear progression with Pope contract ending in 2026 (same could be said for Man City in fairness as Ederson was ending same time).

 

Maybe naively thought Man City was all in on him, but that's not happened. Probably can gurantee he's gutted and knows it could be a move to someone like West Ham his next move.
