Other clubs' transfers

I normally hate ‘second rung’ clubs’ best players going to the big 5-6, but I’d love to see Schmeichel go to Man Utd as number 1 keeper.

He's definitely not good enough to be number one. I imagine he'll be going there as backup to replace Romero if that does happen.

Great business just getting those wages off the books.

Yeah, but someone needs shooting for adding those wages to the books in the first place.

£560 k/w. My maths has that as £92.4 million over three years. For Alex Sanchez...

He was worth it during his arsenal form though. How much were they quoted for bale, even before wages?

He has been on a downward slope for the last six months, but most put that down to fatigue and wanting away from Arsenal.

Yeah true, was a bit like Torres in that respect where he'd levelled off a bit before a big transfer. Still crazy how shit he's been at Man Utd though.

not really surprising when you look at his summers from 2014-2017; 2014 world cup, 2015 copa america, 2016 copa america 2017 confederations cup, dude has basically little to no rest time for 4 years thats going to take a toll on a player

He'd been shite for Inter as well but since return from lockdown has been vastly improved. Tim Vickery had been saying he was due to fall off a cliff with the amount of football in his legs for a while before it actually happened.
