Froggy
Hudson-Odoi to Saudi now picking up speed. That'll be Kouliably, Ziyech, Kante, Mendy and Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea alone.
kocunar
Ah yes, Hudson Odoi, another aging Muslim big name star.

Doctor Zaius
I can just about accept the argument they're targeting high profile muslim players with a big followings with the signings so far but if Hudson-Odoi goes, its blatantly obvious something has gone on behind the scenes. He's a player with a well known name who no-one particularly wants.

SteV
Man Utd giving Rashford a new contract on £375k p/w. Shows the kind of financial advantages they have over the likes of us, not that it’ll ever get spoken about though.

They have no advantages, glazers are as bad as Ashley and they don’t spend money. /s

Looked poor for ages and what even is he? Not a striker not a midfielder doesn't score goals. Mental deal from arsenal surely there is way better than Havertz for 60 million plus
LV
£65m Arsenal have been robbed and I love it
St1pe
I’m the opposite I think Havertz is going to be a massive success and considering some of the fees going around £65m seems a great deal.
BeloEmre
How do we expect Arsenal to line up to get all their best players in the team?

Yes, nobody has ever mentioned the financial advantages Manchester United have over other teams.

Bring Ronaldo in on a free giving him half a mill or whatever a week = “spent nothing on forwards”. Edited June 21, 2023 by SteV

TeddySAFC
I think Havertz is canny mind, better suited to a team like Arsenal than chucked into playing a lone striker role at Chelsea which is not what he is.
timeEd32
I'm prepared to be wrong on Havertz and maybe Areteta has some brilliant plan, but I just don't really see how he improves their first XI. What even is their first XI with him and presumably Rice? Is he replacing (or a backup to) Jesus? Is he a backup to Martinelli and Saka? Or do they have a way of starting all of Jesus, Saka, Martinelli, Havertz, and Odegaard?
wyn davies
We will probably get a couple of players who have been sold to Saudi teams on loan , poss solve any FFP issues allowing us to get a couple of expensive ones in.
