Canny station, terrible name, they reckon they can't change it now because it's so well known, but it never stopped marathon becoming snickers , or opal fruits becoming star burst. Get it changed.

What annoys me is, as they continue not to change the name the presenters very rarely if ever inform guests they are not just broadcasting to the city of Newcastle when they are interviewing guests on the station.

Due to the station name interviewees must think they are only addressing the city of Newcastle and the content/context of the programme is the poorer for it as it becomes centred on such a small area.

Very little attempt is ever made to inform guests they are in fact broadcasting to a much wider audience and to broaden the conversation to reflect this.

We must never forget that the vile liberals at the BBC, particularly the evil Dawnie (A WOMAN!), have been working in cahoots with the EU, the North Sea and Nexus to keep the white men of Sunderland in their place.
