Bimpy474
When we play like we did tonight, you can see the problems a mile off. We are so lazy with our passing, Perez, Shelvey and Ritchie especially tonight were poor in possession, one bad game though in a brilliant run that's seen us safe. Even in playing not that great we should have took something, nothing to worry about imo. Not being good enough ≠ lazy. Dunno, the last 4 games were good enough. You can't play well every game to be fair, i just wish it wasn't against medicine ball head.

Crumpy Gunt
They were shit. We were worse. Kenedy has almost mastered the Scotty Parker full circle twirl. Maybe should have started an unchanged team. Doesn't matter anyway.
ElDiablo
There's just something really dislikable about Everton I find, and not just the fat mess in charge or their little gimp of a keeper.
Stottie
“This kind of game, when they are very physical and the referee allows them to do these things; they are at home and they have quality, and they took their chance. We didn’t take our chances. I said it post-game, but I thought the ref let them do niggly stuff all game. Schneiderlin committed a professional foul to stop a fast counter about half an hour in and the gormless Madeley didn't even give him a talking to. It felt like a cue for them to just do argy bargy and stop us playing with any rhythm.
Collage
They were there for the taking, but we were poor. Yeah, the ref was weak but that wasn't why we lost.
Conjo
Expected performance from both teams. Was a coin toss as to who would take points. Bring on WBA!
High Five o
Expected performance from both teams. Was a coin toss as to who would take points. Bring on WBA! Agreed 100%. We do not have the quality on up front to get something from games like this. It was a okay performance, not as good as it should be, but not as bad as it could. Our performance the last games have been better than the squad is, man for man. Games like this is on a edge, and when we do not take our (few) chances, but the opposition do, we get nothing. Shearergol
They were shit. We were worse. Kenedy has almost mastered the Scotty Parker full circle twirl. Greg
They were s***. We were worse. Kenedy has almost mastered the Scotty Parker full circle twirl. Maybe should have started an unchanged team. Doesn't matter anyway. Quite a big difference in that Kenedy uses it to shrug off of a man and move forward. Kenedy tends to do it with his body but not the ball to get in a better position. Parker did it with the ball to pass the ball sideways or backwards.
Figures 1-0 Football
Perez loves a good turn too. Sadly he often turns into trouble rather than away from it though

Shearergol
How did Shelvey play in front of Southgate? Defensivley he was good. Passing was a bit shit though. Just an off night like all of them (apart from Diame, Kenedy and maybe PD)
Tsunami
Terrible game, we shouldn’t have lost but perhaps it was no bad thing. Can’t keep winning it’d only serve to put our value up and convince Ashley that we have a top 8 squad already
Begbie
How did Shelvey play in front of Southgate? Defensivley he was good. Passing was a bit shit though. Just an off night like all of them (apart from Diame, Kenedy and maybe PD) Even though im not a big fan of Gayle the premiership player, I think he was good when he came on. joeyt
Canny annoying how Pickford has probably faced the most number of shots in the PL in the last couple of seasons and we've barely tested him once in 2 games against him
Big Geordie
Watched the game - thought we looked off the pace, put perhaps that's a bit understandable given how well we have done over these past few months. Diame and Dummett were solid again - Slimani starved of service - Gayle isn't the answer. We need a quality striker in the summer!
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Everton may have won but their fans won't be happy with this news: - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43922460
wormy
It'll be hilarious when they either still ditch him in the summer or sack him early next season.
