Chicane
The twat interviewing Bruce, Patting him on the shoulder there after the interview. Why the fuck do they all love him? Embarrassing as fuck Also a classic PFM quote from Brewcie there when asked about tactics "What we need is to roll up our sleeves and show a bit of pride"
Robster
Bruce: "I have heard lots of nonsense about tactics but the big thing is about showing pride and having a go." That's not from today, surely ? Really difficult to know what to say to that. It's laughable and distressing in equal measure.
mrmojorisin75
He’s completely lost the dressing room imo. All this “we’re loads happier” s*** from certain players is bullshit. Every single players knows Bruce is clueless. I can’t see him winning another game. I agree. Lascelles was completely going through the motions with his interview, they're not interested man. Dubs, Schar, Longstaff etc. all look shadows of themselves and who can blame them?

Lascelles appears to have been lobotomised over the summer with some of the stuff he’s coming out with these days.
Robster
Players agents will be working overtime, looking ahead to January and next summer. No doubt about that at all.
Yorkie
There's a significant percentage of the squad still there who, for three years, grafted as hard as any NUFC squad has ever grafted in the modern era. Aye, there were a few poor moments where they needed their arses picking up but, on the whole, the collective determination of the squad has been one of its biggest assets ever since it was formed. It had a huge job to do: get promoted and stay up, which is exactly what happened, with a hell of a lot of bottle (particularly when Brighton and Huddersfield were on our tails in 2017), and a few massive match-winning comebacks along the way (Norwich, Brighton, Man City, Everton to name four). Weird how all of a sudden there's been some cultural shift and they've no pride or motivation. It's almost as if the structural integrity of the entire club was being held together by one man and, now he's gone, everything has very quickly turned to absolute shit. LV
Just had a thought. Maybe Bruce DOES actually love the club and is on board with the burn it down so Ashley leaves plan and is doing all this on purpose. Bloke’s a genius. Bruce IN. D. Yimentov
The t*** interviewing Bruce, Patting him on the shoulder there after the interview. Why the f*** do they all love him? I thought it class. He totally emasculated him.

midds
Bruce walked into this shitstorm with his eyes wide open, he knew exactly what he was signing up for. He even resigned to try and avoid Ashley having to pay compensation. He’s prepared to throw his players under the bus and point a finger at Benitez for his own embarrassing shortcomings. Imagine blaming a Champions League winning manager who left in June for problems going into October. He’s taking no responsibility, he’s blaming anyone and everyone bar himself and trotting out the cringey cliches just as he has done all of his pitiful, joyless and unsuccessful managerial career. He’s a gormless, spineless fuckwit and deserves all the shit coming his way in the next month or so. Fuck him, not a shred of sympathy for him here. Nattfare
That is an incredible comment from Bruce. Tactics is nonsense in football, whatever will he think of next? I'll look forward to his next interview with big expectations.

D. Yimentov
If Mike Ashley offered you a quarter of a million a year to manage Newcastle and you had to do product placement for Donnay on the telly and tell The Chronicle that Lee Charnley is lush, would you do it? I would.

Pons Alias
Is that what Ashley thinks as well? You just need any random bloke to take training? Essentially a PE teacher would do?

I would. The thing you have to remember with this scenario is that this is Mike Ashley. If he is willing to offer that, no doubt there will be a League One club offering me twice as much to do it as well.
