He's the best we could hope for from that lot. Enough of a lad to throw up into fire places with Ashley, but will genuinely have the team play some decent football. Redknapp always does well with foreign players from all over too. Surprised MA hasn't made more effort to get him. He tried a few year ago but 'arry wouldn't move 'ap norf'. Ah, yes. Vaguely recall that now you mention it. That's a shame actually. He's probably the best fit as far as Ashley's weird preferences and actually producing something decent on the pitch. The movement off the ball is usually shit or non-existent and we give it away every 5 seconds. Our building from the back is passing it along the back like a hot potato and then booming it long to nobody in particular. Thoroughly depressing stuff. This club just gets worse and worse. wspence_uk Posted September 30, 2020 Share Posted September 30, 2020 The problem is, at this basket case of a club hes held to a different standard than other managers, at the other 19 Premier League clubs some of the performances over the past 12 months would be completely unacceptable and warrant the sack, it feels like he can perform to such a low standard and only feel pressure from the fans, even the press up here seem to give him a much easier time than he warrants.
