West Bromwich Albion 2-3 Newcastle United - Man City (H) in QF

Recommended Posts

Nee chance we'll be playing 4 at the back against City.

City clear favourites obviously, would've said nee chance away, but there's a small chance of a win at home.

I think that will send a confusing message to the squad as well. After criticising Rafa's 5 man defence all season, if he reverts to it every time we have a big game - that too at home - then what are the players going to think?

We have should have enough flexibility to play different formations.

As long as you haven't been criticising that formation because the former boss was coaching it.

We'll beat City.

We'll get bummed into oblivion.

City have only beaten us once in last 4 visits at SJP tbf.

It's a cup quarter final, after the season they've had they'll want to win it. Bruce's 4-4-2 looked wide open against West Brom, I don't think City will be so wasteful when they get chances...and they'll get plenty.

three of those 4 visits were under Rafa ffs

Fairly important fact that's getting missed.

The 2012 and 2014 ones annoy me at home. 2012 because we were good enough to beat them that day and should have scored first half, 2014 because the lino actually let Joe Hart convince him the goal should be chalked off.

Rumours the Man City match is Saturday 21st 7.45pm!

Norwich vs Man Utd definitely the Sunday as they play in the Europa the Thursday before.

Aye I think we'll definitely be on the Saturday like. As you say Man Utd game will be Sunday. Chelsea play away at Bayern the Wed before, so they would probably prefer a Sunday. And Sheff Wed already at home on the Saturday, so can't see the Sheff Utd game being on the same day.

Liverpool ko off at 5:30 on the Saturday at home to Palace, where they could possibly win the league, so other broadcasters might want to stay completely clear of that and the subsequent hours of love-in that follow.

Apparently if the FA Cup is cancelled, we win it as we scored the most goals.

Most ridiculous thing I’ve seen this year, we scored 4 goals without replays but are they including replays in this ridiculous scenario, u couldn’t get past 2 league one teams at the first attempt so we will count the replay goals and u win the cup
